Today marks the start of my personal @WSOP Main Event, the $50,000 Poker Players Championship.

A random guy yells "you are a clown" into his phone while pacing around in the back, which can be heard in the entire room.
No idea who he talked to but the irony was mildly entertaining.

During the 2022 @WSOP, I had high hopes of maintaining my #mentalhealth and physical health. And I failed, quite blatantly. It may have been the first time that the series, on the heels of months on the road prior, was a draining grind.

Tommy Le 🇺🇸 has now won the @WSOP $10,000 PLO Championship for the second time. He also finished 3rd in it previously and came 2nd in two other PLO Events in 2016 and 2021 - eight WSOP PLO final tables since 2010!!!

Most of the veterans moved to other jobs, because it wears you out physically and mentally throughout the years.
Well yeah, but I don't think Brewer is ripping here with 17bb with K2o.

During the @WSOP 2021, I got to cover #mixedgames #poker variants almost exclusively for more than five weeks.
I learned a lot, and questioned myself a lot. Thanks for the lessons @Ray_Henson, @GambleOnPoker and @AdamFriedman119 to name a few teachers.

It's actually funny.
Since publishing this thread, I have completed half a dozen half and four full marathons - and will become a dad early in May.
I now have an entirely different reason to miss out on the @wsop summer camp or may just visit for a short period.

I am not rich nor poor but get to enjoy a quite privileged environment as I have almost everything I need / want.
Working in the #poker industry has given me the tremendous opportunity to escape from an ordinary life with a boring 9-5 office job on the horizon.
