99% of ecom brands shouldn’t waste a second on cost caps or bid caps, Especially if you’re under $1M/month. It makes you think things are better than they are If your cost cap barely spends and you get cheap conversions you’re like “Oh, my ad is good!” Hate to break it to you but not really. The best ads can run at the highest volume and drive your performance every single day so you’re actually handicapping yourself in long term because you think your creatives are better than they are. Highest volume is what forces you to make better creatives If your creatives are not working on the highest volume, then they aren’t good enough. You should be ridiculously obsessed 24/7 with trying to get your ads to smash on highest volume As well as: - Making creatives better - Making your website conversion rate better - Making your email and SMS marketing flows better - Making your email/SMS marketing campaigns better Focus on that instead of bidding and you’ll be selling out of all your products in no time.

4 non-negotiables before you touch Facebook Ads Manager (LESSONS AFTER $330M IN AD SPEND) 1. READ THESE BOOKS OR STAY BROKE - Breakthrough Advertising - Cashvertising Every killer technique is in there While everyone jumps into tactics, you'll understand psychology 2. MEMORIZE AIDA OR DIE POOR Awareness → Interest → Desire → Action Marketing is just moving people through stages Know what job each ad does 3. DEFINE YOUR IDEAL CUSTOMER (OR TARGET EVERYONE & SELL TO NOBODY) Stop trying to sell to everyone Target the person who has your problem, can afford your solution, and is ready to buy NOW 4. TRACK 3 METRICS ONLY (IGNORE EVERYTHING ELSE) - CPC (traffic cost) - CPA (customer cost) - ROAS (profitability) Traffic × Conversion Rate × AOV = Revenue Ads Manager is not a COD lobby you can just pop into It’s more psychology than it is button-pushing Master fundamentals first, everything else is expensive education

Having a family is a weapon in business. My wife and I have been together six years. When we first started dating, I had just gotten my equity at my former company. I remember taking her to Nobu as a celebration. She's been with me throughout everything. I went from wage slave to starting my agency, then starting my coaching program to then leaving my 9-5 entirely. She's: - Supported me the whole way - Given me some of the best advice throughout the journey - Helped me distill right moves versus wrong moves - Helped me read people based on her perspective of who I am and how people are treating me. Having a good partner is a secret weapon because they can see your blind spots They know who you are as a person and help you either get out of your own way or protect yourself from making wrong decisions She doesn't control me or my business decisions nor is she involved in any of my businesses But she's a huge part of keeping it real and keeping me grounded while never doubting me or questioning my dreams/aspirations. If you have a toxic partner/wrong family, then yeah that's a big disadvantage. But if you have a great partner who supports you 1000%, then you have an extreme advantage.

advice for new brands Sometimes it takes only 1 ad and your profitable and scaling Sometimes it takes testing 50 ads until you find a winner You need to have inputs you do weekly that are emotionless E.g, we always test 5 new ads weekly and send one email and post 3 reels/tiktoks If you systemize your inputs and are consistent and don’t quit youre guaranteed to be successful over time as you get better after more and more reps You aren’t guaranteed to hit a winning ad your first try Keep going

I scaled a brand from $1M to $500M/year using one simple strategy: The "Double Up Method" Campaign/ad working? Then Double the budget. Still working? Double again Not working? Cut 50% and optimize or refresh with new ads. Most people scale 25% or less at a time. This is how you stay small and let your competitors pass you by.

I f*cking hate get-rich-quick people. This Meraki Medicinal situation is the perfect example of why. For those who don't know: Some dropshipping children saw their success, stole the entire brand down to the pixel, and tried to pass it off as their own. This is why I don't accept dropshippers into my program. I will not help dropshippers. Get-rich-quick stuff is filth. You live a life with no meaning if your sole mission is money and you don't care how you get there. These children think they're "hustling" but they're not learning anything. If you copy everything, you don't learn the fundamentals. You might learn "this works for this brand in this situation" but you're not building the skills to succeed long-term. This is the dark side of money twitter - fakepreneurs watching for anyone succeeding so they can copy instead of creating. Real entrepreneurs build. They create value. They solve problems. They make an impact.

4 retarded mistakes I see new brands make with Meta ads. These patterns predict who scales VS who stays stuck. 1. Not doing the basics. Get your Alia popup. Get your welcome flow, browse abandoned, and abandoned checkout flows set up. Optimize your product pages. Need reviews (unless luxury brand). CPG brands need bundles. Most ignore this then wonder why ads don't convert. 2. Not testing enough Launch 2 ads and think that's enough. No. You need a rigorous testing system. Test 1-4 creative concepts per week. Find those winning ads. Most people give up before they find the winner. 3. Not scaling when things work Brands that took off from $8K to $100K monthly created 3-5 pieces of content every week. Forever. Video side + static side. Systematized their inputs. Realized they have to make content forever. Send emails forever. Keep improving the website monthly. 4. Not making big bets on winners Too scared to take the swing when they get their first winning ad. I've seen brands stay small because they won't scale up and train the algorithm properly. Setting up the basic infrastructure + Rigorous optimization + never let losers run + scale winners aggressively = $$$

Entrepreneurship ages you like the trenches do. I’m 3 years into my agency journey. 2 years coaching 100+ brands. You're working every single day. Never off. 24/7 world vs 9-5 world. While your peers figure out their first career moves, you're living multiple business lifetimes. The hours you gain on everyone else are massive. Your agency clients hit you up anytime. You can't take your eye off the ball or it will f*ck you. But that's the advantage. The longer you stay in it successfully, the bigger the gap gets. Everyone else starts dropping off. Everyone else quits. You keep going. That's how you end up in the 0.1% or 0.01%. Not just because you're smarter. Because you kept stacking: - Knowledge - Wins - Learnings from losses While everyone else gave up or took their foot off the gas You either love this game or you won’t survive.

Ecom "experts" drown in other people's podcasts books quotes etc and produce no results I consume ZERO dtc, ecom, marketing podcasts. Zero marketing books. Zero advertising courses. And I've spent $320M+ on Meta ads. I got a bank of 140+ ad accounts I have access to that I can reference anytime anywhere Data > Theory Most marketers get trapped in that Consume Consume Consume loop when it should be Produce Produce Produce They get stuck in: - Echo chambers - Dogmatic strategies - Repetitive thinking I get inspiration from: - The real world - Other industries - My own test results - Specific problems I'm solving today On this app, I see two types of content: 1. Validation of what I'm already doing 2. Ideas that are fundamentally flawed But I'm never LEARNING my craft from others. Yes, I'm always learning but from my OWN tests, my OWN data, and my OWN innovation. That's how you mog the competition. Innovating > Following Tunnel Vision Over Everything

Disagree. I crushed it as a media buyer for years before running my own brand. When I started at Ruggable they were doing $1M/year revenue. I scaled them to $16M the first year without owning equity because I was obsessed with performance. Real killers are killers all the time. Not just when it's their own brand. You gotta find media buyers who treat your money like their own and are addicted to results, winning and dopamine. Yes, I eventually got equity, now have my own brand, plus agency and coaching program. But the obsession came first. Find a killer who lives and breathes advertising. Align incentives. And you will win big.
You should NEVER trust a media buyer who has not run their own Ecom brand. Why? Because when it's your own cash on the line, everything changes. You feel the weight of every dollar spent. And you operate with a whole different level of discipline, urgency, and accountability.

If @LogFitz6 @nickrgrs didn’t create launch socials, not sure I’d be on the path I am now, fully pushing out content - building my own businesses and betting 100% on myself. In last 9 months my life’s completely changed and launch socials gave me that extra push I needed and much needed accountability It takes work - but they lay it all out for you If you have an exceptional skill or God given talent - you should share it with the world And it all starts with demonstrating your competence through content. So if you’re on fence sign up and bet on yourself.

When I started my journey in ecom it was because I couldn't get a job out of college. By 2022, I had personally managed $200M+ in ad spend and scaled a brand from $1M to $530" My path to running 8/9-figure ad accounts was anything but conventional. I went from not knowing what a media buyer was to scaling a brand to a multi-billion dollar valuation. My story is rooted in a firm belief in God and the vision he has for me. 2016: No finance firm wanted me after college. Saw a job post for "media buyer" - had no idea what that meant but applied anyway. Became the TOP media buyer at the agency in 2 MONTHS. Went through the Facebook Blueprint course in my first week. (I still recommend this to every single person starting off on meta ads) 2018: I was sick of managing random brands/business ads and wanted to join a company with IPO potential (wanted to ring that fucking NYSE bell, still do) where I could get equity. Stumbled upon Ruggable on indeed, a vc-backed startup with a strong paten that was disrupting an archaic industry The founder asked: "Are you the one who's going to take us to hundreds of millions?" I immediately said "Yes, I'm HIMOTHY” - then scaled them from $1M to $550M in North America revenue over the course of the next 5 years. 2019-2020: Launched them in UK, Europe, Australia - zero to 8 figs in under a year in EACH market. Built out Pinterest, TikTok, OTT, YouTube, literally every ad platform. Even initially built out their email marketing infrastructure on Klaviyo because we didnt have anyone running email yet (this was when klaviyo was new new af) I had to fight off agencies - all these big-name companies were trying to take my job and get me fired. But I ran their ads from day one and scaled with the company the whole time. Executives came and went, but I stayed, constantly proving my value through results. While other guys I knew were making money as entrepreneurs, I stayed at Ruggable because I knew it would give me knowledge NO ONE else would have. Everyone was obsessing over fancy metrics and complicated strategies, I kept it simple - focusing on what actually moved the business forward. That's why I was able to see things others missed. 2022: When it became clear we weren't going to IPO soon I started posting on Twitter & sharing Meta ads insights from running $320M+ in spend. Launched my agency We Are The Select while still at Ruggable, and got my first client with an ugly as f*ck landing page with no logo. 2023: Kept getting DMs from people needing help. Realized I could package everything I did for agency clients into a coaching program. That's how META ADS AT SCALE was born. Now we've got brands at $10K, $100K, $300K, $500K and $1M+ monthly revenue. We're the only ones helping brands at EVERY level. Just got someone from $300K to almost $1M in less than 3 months.. 2024-Now: April 2024 I finally left Ruggable to focus on my agency and coaching program full-time. Have over 100 students, and agency clients who I love working with. I wouldn't give up the position I'm in now for anything else. All because I stayed true to my convictions and followed God's plan for me. The goal: 100 ecom brands doing $10M+ a year by 2027 - that's $1B in annual revenue from brands in my program. God gave me this vision and I'm just getting started

"Media buyers are dying" is a retarded take. I've been the media buyer, creative strategist, account manager, script writer, and a photo shoot director since I started in 2016 While everyone was building separate departments, I was doing it ALL That's why agencies couldn't touch me at my last brand. That's why I scaled them from $1M to $550M Most media buyers are just catching up to what top performers have been doing for YEARS The real shift is the birth of the Performance Marketing CMO Someone who leads: - Paid strategy - Retention Strategy - Creative direction (Brand + Paid) - Promotion planning - Email/SMS integration - Website optimization - Cross-channel coordination The bloated marketing teams with 5 specialists doing the work of 1 killer are getting exposed I've always believed in lean teams. One person with the output of 5 people. This "trend" is just the industry catching up to reality - Real killers can do it all and specialists will get replaced. Glad everyone's finally figuring it out. Only took these mfs 6 years

A lot of you are psyoped by Meta into believing ridiculous stuff about things like bidding, consolidation etc etc. I’m gonna tell you 6 truths about the game. Coming from someone who's been doing this way too long. Truth #1: Account infrastructure is everything Brands build random campaigns with zero foundation. Accounts that consistently print money have 8-15 campaign types working simultaneously. Each with a specific role in the customer journey. Every campaign needs a clear purpose. Long-term thinking beats short-term tactics (obviously). Truth #2: Most UGC is mid Everyone's a "UGC creator" nowadays which means most people are not good Outsourcing creative to random people in Ohio doesn't work. The market has evolved beyond basic UGC approaches. What works is building internal creative muscle. Directing your own shoots. Brand owner involvement in creative direction. Truth #3: All audiences work - for different brands Broad works for high-intent products with clear value. Interest works for niche products with specific audiences. Lookalikes work when you have strong customer data. Retargeting works for everyone (no exceptions). Brands scaling to 8-9 figures use ALL of Meta's products, not just one approach. Truth #4: Scaling = stop being a soyboy with budgets 10-25% budget increases don't build empires. Double budgets when campaigns are working. Wait a few days, then double again if still working. $50M+ Black Friday revenue comes from big swings, not timid moves. Truth #5: Stop over-optimizing your account This isn't 2017. Day trading your ad account doesn't work anymore. My optimization schedule: Mondays (after weekend data) and Thursdays/Fridays (prep for weekend). Focus on CREATIVE the rest of the week. Truth #6: Zuck is the actual GOAT Most sophisticated ad platform ever built. Data from FB, IG, WhatsApp, Messenger. More millionaires minted than any other platform. Master Meta before expanding elsewhere. Scale to $100K+/month on Meta first. Build your foundation here before diversifying.
