🩷“Sugar? What do I need sugar for when I have you?” said freed Palestinian hostage Ahmad, kneeling to embrace and kiss his mother after nearly two years in Israeli occupation prisons. She had brought him chocolate, worried about his sugar levels after hearing of the starvation and abuse detainees faced inside the camps. 🚨Israeli soldiers detained two Palestinian children, accusing them of being spies in Al-Khalil, West Bank today. When passersby questioned why such young children were detained, the army told the to stop filming. The soldiers demanded to know where the boys' father was and detained them for a while before multiple soldiers went to the family's' house, preventing activists from following them. The soldiers then harassed and threatened the shopkeepers who were trying to support the children. This is the everyday violence of the occupation in Al Khalil where Israeli soldiers routinely terrorise Palestinians outside their homes without impunity. @ISMPalestine

🚨Dr. Mohammed Abu Lahia revealed that journalist Saleh al-Jaafarawi was kidnapped, brutally beaten, and executed by collaborators working with the Israeli occupation. In his message mourning his friend, Dr. Abu Lahia said that Saleh had confided in him before his death that he was being hunted by these collaborators and feared they would eventually kill him. “They betrayed you, just like you told me they would,” he wrote. “You said, ‘If I don’t die by the occupation, I’ll die at the hands of the collaborators’, and that’s exactly what happened.” mohammed.lehia (IG)

♥️Congratulations to our beloved Mosab al-Sharif, Anas al-Sharif's nephew, for passing his high school exams. Despite enduring unimaginable loss, the deaths of his father, grandfather, and his uncle, Mosab refused to surrender to grief or the hardships of life under genocide. At just 18 years old, he balanced his studies with his work documenting the genocide in Gaza alongside his uncle. When asked who he dedicates his success to, he said, “To my uncle Anas, my father Shadi, and my grandfather Abu Shadi, they were waiting for this joy.” Mosab now dreams of studying journalism to continue their legacy. samer_abo_samra24 (IG)

🚨Fifteen-year-old Nada Arhouma now sees life through one eye and unbearable pain in the other. She was playing with her sisters in their displacement tent in Khan Younis when an Israeli occupation airstrike struck nearby, tearing through the camp and turning laughter into screams. ❗️A Palestinian child and his father, Fadel Abu Alya, were detained by the Israeli occupation forces after the occupation declared the village of Al-Mughayir, northeast of Ramallah, a closed military zone for 48 hours. Occupation soldiers closed the village’s only entrance, cutting off residents from leaving or returning. A group of soldiers then seized a home in the village, forcibly evacuating its residents and turning it into a military outpost. Meanwhile, an occupation military bulldozer stormed the village center as forces tightened their control over the area. ‼️A 13-year-old child from Gaza, Mohammad Sarhan, saw his father killed before his eyes by the Israeli occupation, then was kidnapped by them along with his mother. He was later released alone, without a mother or father, and suddenly found himself the sole caretaker of his younger siblings. “I feel like a 35-year-old man,” he says. “I can’t study or play like other children. I have to work to bring food and water for my family.” At just 13, Mohammad carries both the grief of genocide and the burden of survival, forced to grow up too soon in a world that stole his childhood. salmakaddoumi (IG)

‼️“I don’t want my father to die! It’s over, there won’t be any smile anymore. It’s all gone.” These were the words of Layan al-Daghma, the daughter of Khaled al-Daghma, who was killed today at the so-called “Fish Fresh” aid point in Rafah, run by the Gaza “Humanitarian” Foundation. Khaled had gone out to help transport people so they could get food for their starving families. He came back in a body bag. His daughter cried that they had been starving for three months, and now she wishes it had been her instead. The Foundation, falsely presented as an aid initiative, is being used by the Israeli occupation as a tool of control and humiliation, drawing desperate people into deadly traps instead of delivering real aid. Similar incidents have been happening every day at all GHF points. Today, multiple casualties were reported at the Netzarim point as well. So far, 9 martyrs have been confirmed at the Fish Fresh point, with more arriving. Source: samer.alboji (IG)

Ramadan has come to Jabalia. As the blessed month begins tomorrow, Muslims in Gaza will start their fast from sunrise to sunset, approximately 5 AM to 5:30 PM. In the spirit of spreading joy and light during these sacred days, we wanted to bring smiles to the faces of children in North Gaza. That’s why we distributed beautiful lanterns to children in Jabalia and in the al-Zaytoun neighborhood of Gaza City. Ramadan lanterns hold a special place in our hearts and traditions. They are not merely decorative items; they symbolize hope, guidance, and the illumination of our souls during a time of reflection and renewal. As families gather to celebrate, these lanterns light up the evenings, creating an atmosphere of warmth and festivity that transcends the challenges of daily life. They remind us that even during the most difficult of situations, the spirit of Ramadan, full of compassion, unity, and joy, can still manage to brighten our lives and communities. ❗️"This is the Palestinian mother! Look at her, people!" A Palestinian mother of five orphans, all under the age of ten, returned empty-handed from Gaza’s Al-Rasheed Street today after waiting for hours near aid trucks. “I’ve been out since 7 in the morning and didn’t get anything,” she cried. “All of Gaza is starving.” She had gone like everyone else, hoping to bring back food or flour for her children, but was left to walk home in despair. “Is it right for me to be scrambling since dawn when I have five starving children at home?” she asked. She directed her words to the world, to those watching from places of comfort, asking what exactly they are watching while children in Gaza starve. ❤️Today in Jabalia, amidst the rubble and devastation, the air was filled with the comforting scent of freshly baked bread. We set up an oven in the heart of destruction, not just to provide food, but to bring a sense of comforting warmth and hope to those who have lost so much. As many of you know, the upper north of Gaza has been severely devastated, with an acute shortage of basic necessities. While our primary focus right now remains on fulfilling the overwhelming water needs, today we baked and distributed 2,000 loaves of bread to 100 families. This initiative will continue in the coming days to provide sustenance to those with a lack of the most basic of needs. In addition to this, we delivered an astounding 101,000 liters of fresh water across North Gaza today (03.02.2025), ensuring that thousands have access to clean drinking water. Ever since the return of Palestinians to the North started, we have provided over half a million liters of fresh water in a span of one week across North Gaza. Thank you all who support our Translating Falasteen x The Sameer Project @sameerproject North Gaza Campaign. It's only through your overwhelming support that we can continue doing this work. Dragging his body on a wheelchair across scorched earth, Ibrahim Abdul Dayem, a double amputee, reaches the al-Sudaniyya area where flour trucks trickle in through the Israeli occupation-controlled Zikim checkpoint. “Flour with blood,” he says. “If I don’t get food today, I’ll die of starvation.” Since March 2nd, 2025, the Israeli occupation's total blockade on Gaza has pushed the US-Israeli engineered famine to catastrophic levels. Only a handful of aid trucks are allowed through, too few to meet desperate needs, and each one comes at the cost of blood. For Ibrahim and hundreds of thousands like him, survival now means risking death just to feed their families. Contact Ibrahim: +972598869925 , Ibrahim Abdul Dayem Source: amer_elsultan (IG)

"I used to create joy before the war, but during it, I'm the one looking for joy and a smile." Aloush the Clown and his partner Bilal once entertained children across Gaza at birthdays and festivals. Now they roam hospital wards trying to lift the spirits of children injured by Israeli airstrikes. With red noses and oversized shoes, they search for smiles within seas of wounded and sick children. That fleeting smile has become a form of healing, for the child in pain, and for the performer holding onto purpose in a place determined to erase it. @trtworld

Fun-filled day for the children of North Gaza! Every week, sometimes even twice, we bring a splash of joy to the children of North Gaza. Today, at al-Zahra' camp over 130 kids enjoyed a day filled with dancing, singing, games, contests, and face painting. Each one of these events concludes with gifts of toys and fun accessories for children to light up their faces with smiles, and so that they can take a reminder of the fun they had to their homes. Thank you to all who support Translating Falasteen x @sameerproject North campaign. ❗️With a colostomy bag sticking out of his abdomen and his face covered in flour, a Palestinian man risked his life to grab a single bag of flour from under Israeli occupation gunfire surrounding aid trucks at the Zikim crossing in Al-Sudaniyya. Ill, frail, and visibly desperate, he shouted into the crowd, “We’re killing ourselves because our children are starving… Who are we appealing to?” His medical condition didn’t spare him from the brutality of hunger or the danger of being targeted while searching for food. Yesterday alone, 65 Palestinians were killed and 511 injured while trying to reach aid. Hospitals in Gaza have now recorded 1,516 deaths and over 10,067 injuries at aid sites. Meanwhile, five adults died from starvation and malnutrition in the same time span, bringing that total to 180, including 93 children. Powerless to intervene, she watched as walls that once held her family and dreams collapsed, each stone dragging a part of her soul with it. ‼️A Palestinian father of four went to get food for his family and returned bed-ridden. Alaa Al-Sawalhi was critically injured by shrapnel while heading to collect aid from the so-called Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, an Israeli military-run facade posing as an aid distribution organization that operates as a system of control and degradation. A piece of shrapnel shattered his jaw after striking his neck, and another lodged in his back. Gaza’s hospitals lack the equipment to perform the surgery he urgently needs. Doctors have given him only 20 days before his jaw fuses shut permanently. What is marketed as humanitarian aid has become a calculated weapon of dominance. Since these American-Israeli aid centers began operating on May 27, 2025, the Government Media Office in Gaza reports 516 martyrs, 3,799 wounded, and 39 missing, all starving Palestinian civilians attacked while trying to obtain food at these death traps. amr.tabash (IG)

🚨BREAKING | The Israeli occupation’s Be’er Sheva Court held a session this morning, Thursday, October 16, 2025, to extend the captivity of Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, 52, the director of Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza. He appeared via video conference as the court renewed his 'detention' for six additional months under the so-called “Unlawful Combatant Law.” His lawyer from Al-Mezan Center for Human Rights @AlMezanCenter objected, stressing that no charges or evidence have been presented against him, making his detention illegal and politically motivated. Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya was abducted by Israeli occupation forces on December 27, 2024, while performing his medical duties at the hospital. He was denied access to a lawyer for 47 days, during which he was subjected to severe torture and ill-treatment, and remains held in Ofer Prison under harsh and degrading conditions. Al-Mezan Center for Human Rights condemned the court’s decision, describing it as a flagrant violation of international law and the protections guaranteed to medical workers in wartime. The organization stated that Dr. Abu Safiya’s continued abduction without charge or fair trial amounts to hostage-taking by the Israeli occupation, and reflects the ongoing policy of targeting Gaza’s healthcare sector. It called for his immediate release, along with all detained Palestinian healthcare workers, and urged the international community to intervene to stop Israel’s escalating violations against Palestinian prisoners and medical professionals. #FreeDrHussamAbuSafiya #FreeDrHussamAbuSafiyah

❗️"Hell yeah, boy!" says an American mercenary as he shoots a starving Palestinian. Shocking footage leaked by American contractors inside a Gaza Humanitarian Foundation "aid site" shows in complete detail the scale of murder being committed at those points. The contractors released this internal information and footage to the Associated Press to expose how GHF, its logistics subcontractor Safe Reach Solutions, the security company UG Solutions, and the Israeli occupation army are all complicit in the murder of innocent starving Palestinians. According to the latest numbers from June 29th, since the establishment of these so-called “death traps,” the U.S.-Israeli aid centers, on May 27, 2025, Israeli occupation forces have killed 580 Palestinians, injured 4,216, and 39 remain missing while attempting to access food.

Everyone in North Gaza deserves a mental health boost, and today’s modest festival in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood brought just that. From the young to the elderly, smiles lit up every face as, for a brief moment, the harsh realities around them faded away. We had clowns, costumes, face paint, music, dancing, prizes, contests; definitely a day to remember. While, we are usually in al-Zaytoun to distribute food and water, today was special. Defying the relentless sounds of Israeli drones and nearby bombardment, we turned up the volume and the sad faces upside down, drowning the atmosphere of the Israeli aggression with pure Palestinian resilience. Around 150 people joined our celebration of life today and we hope to return once more next week with something new. The Israeli occupation’s Shin Bet has been pressuring prominent Palestinian families, including the Bakr, Dughmush, and Abu Hasira clans, to cooperate with its operations in Gaza. Community elders were reportedly asked to: Form local armed groups, manage and police aid distribution, fight Hamas, and pass intelligence to Israel. Sources at Saudi newspaper Asharq al-Awsat say that the aim is to split Gaza into clan-controlled regions, preventing a unified Palestinian leadership or the establishment of a future Palestinian state. When the families refused, Israel responded with deadly airstrikes: -Al-Sabra, Gaza City: 30 members of the Dughmush family killed, at least 20 more still under rubble. -Near Al-Shati Camp: 6 members of the Bakr family killed, 11 wounded. -Behind Al-Shifa Medical Complex: Homes of the Abu Hasira family bombed after rejecting recruitment to act against their own community in Tal al-Hawa, already under siege.

♥️Incredible news! We posted about Osama Al-Raqab multiple times in the past few months and he was evacuated from Gaza on June 10, 2025, after months of starvation left him severely malnourished and weighing just 9 kilograms. At the time, he was clinging to life at Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis, suffering from anemia, weakness, and exhaustion due to the Israeli occupation’s total blockade. His condition was so terrible that doctors described it as one of the worst they had seen. But in less than two months, Osama made an incredible recovery. The photo on the left was taken on July 23, 2025, in Italy, where he is now receiving proper food, medicine, and care. Osama’s healing is proof of what Gaza could become, if only its people were allowed to live, eat, and be treated.
The child Osama Al-Raqab, 5 years old, suffers from malabsorption and malnutrition due to an undiagnosed medical condition. He requires a high-protein diet to survive, but since Israel sealed all Gaza crossings on March 2nd, he has been unable to access the specialized food and medication he urgently needs. Lying in a hospital bed in Khan Younis, Osama is deteriorating and requires medical tests outside Gaza to determine the cause. Despite several medical referrals being issued, Israel’s COGAT has not approved his evacuation. His mother, Mona, is pleading with international organizations and institutions to intervene and help save her son’s life. Source: @PalpostN Footage at the start by hani.alshaer (IG)
