It’s really hard to find competent engineers
it's really fucking hard to find competent engineers. i've interviewed about 20 cs majors who claim to be experts at typescript and only 3 of them have been able to explain what the purpose of useState is (not trolling).
Community note
useState is a hook in React, which is only a specific Javascript framework among many others. Not all TypeScript developers necessarily have React experience. react.dev/reference/reac

My theory here is that it has to do with the Supreme Court being reduced to one individual, and that person becoming the president or the president appointing themself to the sole position. They could take any executive action and rule it as constitutional. There is a provision that a current president cannot be in either house of Congress but no such provision against the Pres not being a justice.

You know they mostly don’t use evaporative cooling …. Right. They use a closed loop and use water as a mechanism to transfer heat. It’s pushed out to a heat exchanger and looped back in cooled, to collect more heat….

This is such a bad take. Intel has been circling the drain for ages. They haven’t paid their talent well in almost 2 decades. They haven’t brain drain to Apple, amd and nvidia. Missed on mobile/tablets. Missed on gpus (like 4 different times) They got lazy keeping up with process advancement and then tried a risky bet to jump ahead. It failed. They now have a reputation in the industry as slow and ineffective. They can’t even attract the right talent to turn things around. If anything, I’d argue Intel knows the least about the future of computing than any other chip mfg.

I don’t know that I’d call myself “extremely senior” but my biggest pet peeves re: meetings is when people book them with a 30 min gap after/before my other meetings. Not long enough to not work on anything but not long enough to get deep into something. A few years back I realized I can just suggest a new time in most cases and the other person is fine with it.
