I am a registered Democrat here in Iowa. In the lead up to the 2020 federal election, I was mailed six(6) absentee ballot request forms by the democrat party. These were unsolicited, as I always vote in person. I assume the idea was that if I was so inclined, I could scan the obituaries, and make sure that the deceased would have their voices heard. Or perhaps just fill them out with names from the voter rolls, or whoever I pleased.
