The numbers in North Carolina have been updated, and this is where we stand after nine days of early voting (eight more remain).
🔴Republicans - 893,405
🔵Democrats - 861,330
🟡Others - 837,953
Total turnout in the Tarheel State is just shy of 2.6 million, and Republicans notched another net gain of 16,000 votes on Friday.
On the frequency side of things, Republicans are also starting to eke out marginal gains each weekday with new voters, but the delta is still pretty small, which is why their overall lead is only 1.24% right now.
We've logged just under half the expected vote, and the 32,075-vote lead Republicans enjoy today will be cut into by Democrats over the next two days, but it will likely remain a lead heading into Monday.
