NFT projects have it backwards when it comes to building products. You shouldn't be raising money to pay yourself a 6 figure salary just to ATTEMPT to find PMF. You should first bootstrap an MVP while making NOTHING (or even investing your own money) in order to see if it has PMF. Once you realize it doesn't (it rarely ever does on your first try), you pivot and pivot and reiterate based on user feedback until you find what the market is actually demanding. THEN you go and raise to scale it. Stop using JPEGs as seed rounds it's giving NFTs a bad name.

People will understand the value of Hybrids / "404s" when one of two scenarios plays out:
1. A blue chip NFT collection that has a very high floor price and tons of demand issues a 404 coin to expand their userbase and sustain buy pressure as their NFT is no longer accessible.
2. A blue chip memecoin that has a very high marketcap and tons of demand issues a 404 PFP to create a supply shock for their coin and enable their diamond handed holders to "lock up" their tokens as a PFP and make it their whole digital identity.
