Some Canadians forget Parliament ceased to function as Liberals refused to surrender documents as require by procedure to cover misuse of public funds and corruption.
What does this say about the integrity of those still willing to ignore this and so many other transgressions?
A question this Sunday morning prior to tomorrow's federal election national vote.
What was the date Canada's parliament was last open to conduct the business of this nation and Canadians?
Hold on, I do have a second question.
Who is responsible for closing Canada's parliament to the business of the nation?
Questions often do beget additional questions.
Have the in place prime minister and his political party made any effort to conduct even one day's business for the people of Canada, either informally inside or even on the grounds of our parliament since, you know, the day the doors were arbitrarily shut?
Who remembers the stated reason for shuttering the house of the people to elected members of the Canadian parliament in order to do the business of their national constituency?
Who was the prime minister of Canada on the day this nation's parliament became unavailable to its elected, as well as unelected representatives of the people?
And, what happened to that Canadian prime minister who engineered the closure of the house of the Canadian people?
Does he remain as prime minister on the day before Canadians vote, because we all heard him say he fully intended to not relinquish his role and lead his political party in the upcoming federal election.
Was he replaced as the prime minister of Canada? Yes? Well then, by? His and his party's main political opponents, the Conservative Party of Canada? No? Hmm... The New Democractic Party of Canada? No again? Well then, was it a suddenly national in scope Bloc Quebecois? Three strikes? Well, who then? We know it could not have been the Green Party of Canada with its two MPs, or the People's Party of Canada with none.
Might it then have been that prime minister's own Liberal Party of Canada which deactivated him?
Aha!
So Canada now has a new prime minister possibly complicit in the trashing of his predecessor?
Well, fair enough. That could be just ugly survival party politics.
However, was the new prime minister elected through the approval process of a national vote?
No?
OK then. Who elected him to assume office as prime minister of Canada?
130,000 members of the Liberal Party?
And what do Canadians really know about this new and emplaced prime minister? Just a few highlights from his CV?
Look, I truly apologize for taking up so much of your time when the original intent of this post was only to ask about the date Canada's parliament was last permitted to represent the national constituency and conduct the business of the people.
Perhaps this might help. It's a very brief read and dated January 6,2025.
