#1 NYT Bestselling Author of Good Energy - The Surprising Connection between Metabolism and Limitless Health. Committed to awe.

A BEAUTIFUL AND MOMENTOUS DAY FOR AMERICA! A day where I believe there is a MUCH more real potential future where: - Medical freedom is ENSURED - We can drink tap water safely and without fear of pharmaceutical residue, forever chemicals, and microplastics - 99% of foods aren’t covered in glyphosate, atrazine, and other synthetic pesticides - “The science” can’t be PURCHASED by industry - Pharmaceutical companies, food companies, and chemical companies are held liable for the harm they cause when their drugs or products lead to myocarditis, autoimmune diseases, blood clots, autism, asthma, cancer, dementia, death, and more. No legal immunity for companies for the harm they cause - Safety of ALL drugs, food additives, and ag chemicals is studied transparently and rigorously WITHOUT industry conflicts - Views that question or propose an alternative view to Big Food, Big Pharma, or health agencies are not silenced online - Children’s health is prioritized and we STOP and reverse chronic disease in children - The NIH and academic universities are prohibited from being paid front groups for Big Pharma - Humans are never forced or coerced into taking or being exposed to experimental drugs, shots, or chemicals with ZERO long term safety or cumulative exposure data - Healthcare providers are required to learn in their training what the phrase "root cause" means, how systems biology works, and how to prevent and reverse disease - Sunlight isn’t demonized as a cancer-causing boogeymonster - Children (and adults!) spend vastly more time outdoors - Disease causing ultra-processed foods and crops aren’t subsidized aggressively by the government - Regenerative and organic agriculture is incentivized and normalized - Journalists’ paychecks STOP coming from Big Pharma and Food via the advertising that funds their employers, and we start getting some unbiased news - The FDA actually knows exactly chemicals are in food (and starts regulating them) - Fitness is celebrated and incentivized - School lunches for kids aren’t filled with artificial toxins @RobertKennedyJr has a vision for the future that aligns with what I want for my family, future children, and the world. RFK Jr has a track record of DECADES of environmental and health advocacy and he is about to run a big portion of the US economy. I honor him and his team for EVERYTHING they have done and sacrificed to get here despite monumental adversity. America has SPOKEN. LET’S GO!
FROM THE OVAL OFFICE: Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is being sworn in as the United States Secretary of Health and Human Services. MAKE AMERICA HEALTHY AGAIN 🇺🇸 @RobertKennedyJr

Today is my 37th birthday. Yesterday I went to the US senate and spoke my truth - as a physician, as a woman, and a living being striving to act on the signals I am perceiving and the intuition I feel. If there is one thing I feel at this moment in my life at 37, it is that cultivating healthy bodies is of real importance as it is one of the ways that we honor this mysterious MIRACLE of life and nurture the material receiver through which we might be able to connect with spirit, with God. Our unhealthy bodies are a distraction and impediment to the bliss that we can experience right now in the simple recognition of our oneness with all things. Right now, many levers of society in our material world make being healthy extremely challenging for so many. There is mass suffering that needn’t be, because we are - I believe - distraction, confused, and lost, In the swirl of the cosmos, there is something happening in our little corner that feels like it glitching. Life is on assault. Our Earth, the Mother through which God allowed us to come into human form by assembling atoms from her into us, is being destroyed at our own hands, and so of course, so are we. We have broken the cycles of life, and so we are, or course, breaking. I don’t believe the answers to this are going to be strictly technological, because technology often seems to have the intent of outsmarting nature, with I don’t think is possible. I believe they need to be based in humility, care, and respect for our Mother. 🌎 We, together, can right all of this. I think we can do it rapidly. I think we NEED to do it rapidly. We can protect our earth, protect each other, and get back on track to pursue our highest calling in this precious moment in this lifetime. This is what I came to say to the US government yesterday. PROFOUNDLY grateful to the other speakers on the panel, @SenRonJohnson , @RobertKennedyJr , and @calleymeans for leadership on this panel.

Mainstream media playbook: When the culture seems to be turning TOWARDS health, rapidly spin up a BS article (like this one that was published yesterday in TIME) to: 1. SEED CONFUSION: CONFUSION IS KEY - it makes us doubt our convictions about healthy food. Key here is bringing in “experts” who contradict the science and say it’s sensationalized or impractical to implement. 2. NORMALIZE: talk about how nearly 80% of calories come from ultraprocessed food so it can’t be that bad, right? IGNORE that 50% of children now have a CHRONIC DISEASE. Use a meaningless anecdote like the author of the article eating 80% processed food and feeling just fine! 🤦🏼‍♀️ 3. DISTRACT AND SHUT DOWN DISCOURSE BY BRINGING IN SOCIAL JUSTICE: Focus intensely on social justice issues and questions of food access rather than science (“what would people *possibly* eat if we changed the food system towards real food?!”). Rather than focusing on ANY meaningful solutions that are actually good for the health and wellbeing of all people, focus on how changing the current system would lead to more food insecurity. Don’t mention that taxpayer money is what leads these foods and to be cheap through corrupt subsidies, and we actually have a rigged system against people of lower socioeconomic status that is the ACTUAL social justice issue. Don’t mention that we could rapidly steer the billions of dollars of processed food subsidies towards REAL food access for all Americans if there was a will to do so. 4. MINIMIZE THE SCIENCE: mention but then QUICKLY minimize the innumerable studies that say ultraprocessed foods impair hormones, metabolic health, and are associated with early death. 5. DEFINITELY DON’T MENTION CONFLICTS OF INTEREST: certainly don’t talk about funding sources and conflicts of interest at NIH, USDA, FDA, academia, OR THE NEWS OUTLET THAT IS PUBLISHING THE ARTICLE. DON’T FALL INTO THE TRAP

We ALL need to get loud about the importance of real food for cellular health. We need to REALIZE we are being gaslit to think ultraprocessed food is benign. We need to all work together to make unprocessed sustainable food accessible and affordable - from grassroots movements to top down policy. Calley Means: “When Bobby Kennedy and Donald Trump joined together, it represented a historic realignment in U.S. politics.” “It is no longer Left vs. Right, it is about the American people vs. a Military Industrial Complex that is making us less secure, an Education Industrial Complex that is making our children less competitive, and a Healthcare Industrial Complex that is profiting when Americans get sicker, fatter, more depressed, and more infertile.”

Mainstream media so obviously and amusingly showing their cards with their predictable article viciously insulting the historic Senate roundtable on chronic disease and nutrition, calling it “boring” and “woo woo.” The @TheAtlantic author of this “article” (cough pre-planned hit piece cough), a 2015 *journalism* graduate, seems to believe she knows MORE about the chronic disease epidemic than Harvard and Johns Hopskins’ senior physicians @ChrisPalmerMD and @MartyMakary , as well as the other esteemed health and fitness advocates devoting their life to helping wake up America to the plummeting health of our population across the lifespan. In fact, in an overt display of LACK of journalistic integrity, she didn’t even mention that any physicians were there. Just left that out and called this event a ploy for “relevance.” My favorite: she put metabolic dysfunction in literal quotes (“metabolic dysfunction”) like it’s a right wing fueled myth 🤣 She mocked the idea of “doing your own research” … god forbid we take any interest in our OWN health while Rome is burning and 30% of teens now have prediabetes and young adult cancers are skyrocketing. If things are all so black and white, why would it be dangerous to do your own research? Why doesn’t mainstream media want Americans to ask questions? Why do they think that’s dangerous? Share this disgraceful article with your thoughts and comment below as one way to let mainstream media know we are ALL wise to their playbook and aren’t letting it fly.

I can’t believe we live in a world where the American Heart Association says it’s totally ok for a 2 year old to have 6 teaspoons of added sugar DAILY. This is NOT talking about natural fruit sugar (which is not considered “added sugar.” This is industrially manufactured ADDED sugar that they are giving a free pass to, and in fact, recommending. This is unconscionable - this makes parent think added sugar is fine. The sugar is addictive - this has been proven - and the AHA KNOWS that if we give a 2 year old 6 teaspoons, they WILL want more. With 50% of children with chronic disease caused by diet, WHY ON EARTH WOULD WE NOT EXPECT MEDICAL AUTHORITIES TO SAY ZERO GRAMS OF ADDED SUGAR.
How is @American_Heart not calling for ZERO added sugar for 2 year olds. Heart disease is exploding among kids. Think about what 25 grams is doing to those tiny hearts. Then think about how sugar is addictive so it’s a fallacy that kid will only eat 25. This is not science.

Today is the day - GOOD ENERGY IS PUBLISHED! 📚🚀 I wrote "GOOD ENERGY: The Surprising Connection Between Metabolism and Limitless Health" with @calleymeans because after what I saw as a surgical trainee, my experiences as a physician, my personal health journey, and losing my beloved mother far too early to preventable metabolic disease - it is CLEAR that we need a radical re-imagination of how we think about health and how we practice medicine in America. We must focus on the connected metabolic link underlying nearly every chronic disease and symptom in the modern Western world. Why do we need the Good Energy movement to take root? Because the current trends in health - for people and the planet - are bleak and unsustainable. In 2024 in the United States, we are expected to have: - The highest incidence of new cancer cases in recorded history (over 2 million new cases projected) - The highest rates of pre-diabetes and type 2 diabetes ever (over 50% of American adults carry these diagnoses - 136 million Americans) - Soaring rates of mental illness in children and adults - Obesity and overweight rates nearing 75% of the adult population, and 40% of children - Male and female infertility rising steadily - Autoimmune diseases rising to epidemic levels - And so much more Meanwhile, the more we spend on “treating” these conditions, the higher the rates are getting. It doesn’t need to be this way. In our work at @Levels, in my advocacy work and content, and in this book, we strive to push back against this. Nothing could be more important at this moment in history, where our health is plummeting at an alarming and unsustainable rate. GOOD ENERGY outlines an accessible roadmap for incredible mental and physical health, and it is so much simpler than we’ve been led to believe. I believe this book will improve the life of every single person who reads it and can help inspire a collective awakening about health for individuals and the system. It contains information to positively shift the trajectory of health for people and our planet. You can learn more about this mission via my recent episode with @hubermanlab : Transform Your Health with Dr. Casey Means. If this mission resonates with you, my ask is to please buy the book TODAY or share about the book. Buy as many copies as you can. Give them to friends, family, your teams, your community. We CAN radically transform our health and the health of our country and the world. The Good Energy approach will help. amazon.com/Good-Energy-Surpr…

Of all the unintended consequences of the feminist movement, perhaps the most generationally damaging was the implicit push to outsource the role of a primary food-preparer in family, and the outright disrespect for the role. 10 points on how this has unfolded and how we need to update our thinking, fast. 👇 1. Feminist messaging made the role of food preparation out to be some kind of second-class subservient role and the embodiment of wasted potential. Purpose was found outside the home. 2. The messaging convinced so many of us that food preparation is a roadblock in the way of reaching our highest purpose (which is squarely at the top of the corporate ladder.) 3. I know this because I grew up with this messaging and judged women harshly who labored in the kitchen for their families as sad and a waste of potential. 4. As I have woken up and look around at the increasingly sick, depressed, anxious, overweight, infertile world around me, I see I was sorely mistaken. 5. The result of the shift in our food culture? Now, 70% of meals are eaten out of the home and fewer than 33% of families eat together twice per week or more. 93% of Americans have metabolic dysfunction. 75% are overweight or obese. 30% of young people have prediabetes. Close to 40% of women report depression. 6. Henry Kissinger said "when you control the food, you control the nation." By families giving up control of food management, we have handed over our power and potential to corporations with misaligned incentives (profit >> health) and entered the biochemical trap of chronic disease under the guise of "empowerment." In putting the value of the dollar above all else, we convinced both men and women that tasks that are not *directly* revenue generating are less-than. 7. It doesn't matter the gender of the person managing the work of food sourcing and prep, or if it is split amongst the family or close community. The points is that that cells need real, unprocessed, organic, fresh food eaten in calm, safe surroundings in order to function properly. 8. And as individuals and a society we need to make that a TOP priority, not an afterthought. This means making different choices than we are making now in how we spend our time and money. So be it. 9. We must respect thoughtful food preparation for what it is: the alchemical creation of the substance ("meals") that will generate the form and function of the members of the home and be the foundation of mental and physical health and productivity for each member of the household. 10. Thoughtful food preparation is one of the highest ROI investments we can make, one of the greatest gifts we can give to those we love, and a key way to honor our country.

Walking is DIFFERENT than “exercise” biochemically but it’s absolutely critical to metabolic health. Walking is simply a body in low-grade motion, which is required throughout the day for optimal cellular function. Every time we get up and walk we help stimulate the glucose channels to go to the cell membrane and let glucose in to be processed. We have to understand that exercising for a focused 45 min- 2 hours per day does not replace regular low-grade movement throughout the day… We need both. We need to stimulation mitophagy and mitochondrial biogenesis through focused strength training, high intensity training, zone two training, etc… And we need to constitutively dispose of glucose throughout the day by moving our bodies regularly - at least every half hour - which could be walking for 3 min, a few air squats, whatever you want. Part of the reasons Americans are so sick is because we sit all day and then think that a spurt of activity is all that matters… We need more movement. Our cells need regular movement, it sitting 80% of the time (which is what Americans are doing!).

This post likely won’t get a lot of engagement - my posts on composting, regenerative agriculture, and the connection to spirituality (and how this all relates to the chronic disease epidemic) rarely do. But I can’t stop, and I won’t stop! 😄 because it’s the most important thing. Here are a few thoughts on why: The Law of Conservation of Mass says that matter cannot be created or destroyed but can just change forms. When cycles of nature are working properly, matter gets constantly recycled into useful forms. And so there is an endless and creative potential to the Earth (and more broadly the cosmos) that is fundamentallty generative and artful. But in just a few millennia, human brains have evolved to the point where we have a unique ability to “play with” and mold matter in more complex synthetic forms — like new chemicals and materials, many of which get “stuck” in that form and can’t be recycled in natural ways (the best example of this is plastic and landfills). Simultaneously, we are killing the biological entities in the earth and oceans that help with recycling of matter (soil microorganisms, gut microbiome, worms, ocean algae, etc) that could help clean up the messes we are making. All of this recent human activity leads to a funneling of the relatively *finite* atoms in existence OUT of the generative cycle of matter for long periods of time. This is not good in my opinion. Damming rivers thoughtlessly, creating endless landfills, putting human bodies in concrete graves where they can’t decompose, creating unfathomable amounts of plastic, creating mass sewage systems instead of composting… all of this sequesters usable matter into unusable form and/or blocks the natural circulation of the Earth. This depletes the life-giving potential of planet Earth. There are many arguments for why these aspects of modern civilization are unmodifiable, but the reality is, we are smart enough to figure solutions out for things like waste and packaging without destroying the planet. Los Angeles produces 98,952 TONS of non-compostable solid waste trash PER DAY. What is the endgame is here? Truly? We need to compost all food, all bodies, all human waste, and not build products out of human-made materials that are virtually non-decomposable. We need to stop manipulating matter into chemicals that impair life. We need to stop looking for shortcuts. We need to act with HUMILITY towards the wisdom of the Earth and nurture her cycles rather than try to control and dominate them.

I wrote Good Energy because the metabolic health crisis is the biggest threat we face. And the answers are simpler than we are told. The tools to feeling better today are the SAME as how to prevent disease tomorrow. The biggest lie in healthcare is that type 2 diabetes, cancer, heart disease, dementia, Alzheimer’s, depression, arthritis, infertility and more are totally different diseases requiring separate doctors and pills for life. This siloing of chronic disease has been the costliest mistake in the history of modern medicine. The chronic diseases which account for 90% of health costs and 9 out of 10 deaths result from the SAME THING - dysfunction in our body’s fundamental ability to produce energy, which is caused by simple environmental features that have changed in just a century. And now it’s even affecting children because we aren’t waking up fast enough. We need a full revolution in seeing chronic disease is connected - and that revolution is happening from the bottoms up. Thank you @hubermanlab for summoning the important conversations around health empowerment - and diving into the topic of metabolic health deeper than anyone. I so admire and honor his unparalleled commitment to learning, curiosity, and sharing critical empowering information for free with the world.

Pics of the last few weeks of food I’ve gotten for our household! 🫛🥝🍒🍌🍏🍎🍋🍓🍆🥒🥕🍠🥔🌽🧅🧄🥩🐓🥚 All these pounds and pounds of food are the molecular information that have quite literally BECOME ME through the alchemical miracle of eating these last few weeks…. The transfer of energy/matter through sunlight, soil, food, animals, eating, microbiome activity, and cellular biology, all of which I believe are God’s way of constantly transforming matter and energy in the mystery and magic and miracle of the flow of life. If you like my message, remember that a lot of it comes from the neurotransmitters and biological activity created by this food. Isn’t that wild? I’ll never stop being in awe of the gift and magic of how the stars (like our sun) share their light energy with Earth and the cosmos to coax matter to self assemble into these colorful gifts of plants, animals, soil, bacteria, fungi, and then me! We barely understand the “science” of all of it; and in our OBSESSION with science we forget the magic, we forget our intuition, and we forget our connection with ALL of it as a unified, totally integrated swirl of energy. The disconnections are simply a result of perceptual shortcomings of being human. Our eyes are limited. We “see” in such a finite dimension. But there is so much more. All the answers are available to all us when we tune in. We (and I speak for myself here!) are so distracted by screens and dopamine and materialism and extraction culture that it’s so hard to tune in. When I am able to in moments to “tune in,” I know that the freshest most colorful food not covered in toxins is what my body needs to thrive so I can work towards my highest purpose of connecting with Source… God. How WILD that our culture has made food out to be an afterthought. We need to get back to having this be at the center of what we value - and a part of our spiritual path. How are we not going to get lost in the noise this week? Meditation? Prayer? Walks in nature? Presence with humans and animals without PHONES and digital distraction? Cooking with intention? All of the above. Sending you good energy. You are a miracle.

This is about more than cellular biology. It’s not about diets, resistance training, or intermittent fasting. It’s not about zone 2, longevity, or keto. It’s not about cold thermogenesis, glyphosate, or REM sleep. It’s about making decisions and creating a society that facilitates humans - (each of us a wave of the ocean of God) - to be able to spend time in this dualistic period of “life” to transcend the forgetting that is the human condition and let us have the energy and capacity on our pursuit to use this time in a physical body to connect with the unified field of love and light that is our true reality and is God. I think it’s about building a physical temple that is functional so we can reach our highest consciousness. THIS is why I’m passionate about all the details of healthy living. This is why it’s a priority. I don’t have any answers, I’m just an explorer like you, but this is a concept I think about often. Thank you Jay Shetty @jayshetty.

My visit to @foxandfriends this morning got cancelled due to the tragic news of the flight crash in DC❤️‍🩹. Here are the 11 main points I planned to share regarding @RobertKennedyJr and why I believe his successful confirmation is existentially important for the future of America: 1. We have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to redefine our healthcare priorities, right now, led by RFK Jr. This is about completely shifting the NORTH STAR and THESIS for America TOWARD foundational health, prevention, and a respect for humanity in the web of life, and AWAY from reactive sick-care and relentless invasive interventions (pills, shots, surgery) that do not lead to foundational health and thriving. 2. We’ve had 25 HHS Secretaries in U.S. history, of which 9 have been lawyers (including the last 2), and I would bet that 99.9% of Americans cannot even name a single prior Secretary. The reason there is so much scrutiny about RFK Jr. is because he challenges the financial interests of the status quo (Big Pharma, Big Food, Big Ag), NOT because he is a "threat" to public health (he's not). He's a threat to corporate interests. 3. Under these prior HHS Secretaries, healthcare spending has SKYROCKETED while chronic disease have ALSO skyrocketed—aka, a COMPLETE failure that wouldn't be tolerated in any other industry or sector. Americans are intent on disrupting this trend. 4. A reminder: America has the worst health outcomes among ANY high-income country despite spending the MOST, under the watch of 25 previous HHS Secretaries. 5. President Trump’s victory is INEXTRICABLE from RFK Jr., and people voted for a coalition that promised a healthier future for America, led by RFK Jr.'s vision. Any Republican senator doing anything to block this confirmation would be going against the will of the American people, who spoke clearly in Nov and in record numbers. 6. Cabinet nominees don’t typically bring massive constituencies and movements like this—this is a completely unique situation that should make this a slam dunk, NOT a controversy. 7. Senator @RonJohnsonWI, @RogerMarshallMD, and @MikeCrapo could clearly articulate the KEY issue in American health accounting for 90% of healthcare cost: the preventable chronic disease epidemic. Many other Senators completely ignored this focusing on minutiae or emotional hot button issues. As RFK Jr. said: “Our ship is sinking” -- and yet there is STILL handwaving about this like its not the most existential issue we face. @SenBillCassidy -- As a fellow physician, I urge you to read this and vote in favor of RFK Jr. 8. When you’re listening to a hearing about health that talks about mumps more than diabetes, we know we're living in a bizarro world that is not based in reality. 9. It’s hard to imagine being adversarial to what RFK Jr. has consistently called for both in the hearing and for the past years: - Reduced chronic disease rates. - Clean science uncompromised by rampant corporate interests. - Getting conflicts of interest out of government agencies. - Medical freedom. Who doesn't want this? 10. Many diverse topics are bringing MAHA moms to the table—vaccine safety, food additives, medical freedom, school lunches, endocrine-disrupting chemicals, and more—and they all share a common thread: moms (and families) will not stand anymore for a country that profits massively off kids getting chronically sick. Nothing can stop the frustration that is leading to this movement. It's not going back in the bottle. 11. Under the current HHS, Americans are getting sicker every year: more depression, more diabetes, more obesity, more dementia, more autism, more cancer. We need a NEW North Star for American health— and that North Star is better outcomes, better *actual health.* The top priorities of the Department shouldn't be more government jobs, more healthcare access, more prescriptions. The top priority should be one thing: MORE HEALTH FOR AMERICANS. Current HHS priorities include things like "tackling health misinformation," "workplace well-being," tobacco-related health disparities, and expanding the healthcare workforce. Missing from these priorities? SIMPLY GETTING AMERICANS HEALTHIER. As a physician who left the traditional healthcare system out of moral outrage for the simple fact that patients are not getting better, I am strongly supportive of the disruption being brought by RFK Jr towards a root cause approach to health. No one else in this moment in a position to do something about it is talking about this the way he is. Alongside @MartyMakary, @DrOz, and @DrJBhattacharya heading HHS sub-agencies, I believe we have the opportunity for a real inflection point in American health (which, if successful, could transform the health of the world). It would be insanity to keep pushing forward on the incrementalism of the status quo.

Three years ago today, my mother died in my arms of a preventable disease. It wasn't supposed to be this way. I became a doctor so this wouldn't happen. But 9 years into training, I had a realization: I didn't know why patients get sick. I only learned how to cut into them or prescribe them a drug. At Stanford Medical School, we learned how to diagnose and drug. There were no required classes dedicated to nutrition. As rates of nearly every chronic disease continue to rise, I was told to trust the science and not ask questions. But I couldn't get two thoughts out of my head: (1) The patients aren't getting better. (2) Every institution that touches our health (medical schools, hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, insurance companies) is financially incentivized for us to be sick. Something clearly isn't right. My mom—who at the time of her cancer diagnosis was seeing five separate specialists prescribing five separate medications—was frequently complimented by her doctors in the decade running up to her diagnosis for being “healthy” compared to most women her age. And, statistically, she was: the average American over sixty-five sees twenty-eight doctors in their lifetime. Fourteen prescriptions are written per American per year. Among teens, 18 percent have fatty liver disease, close to 30 percent are prediabetic, and more than 40 percent are overweight or obese. We are convinced these increasing rates of conditions—both mental and physical—are part of being human. And we are told we can treat the increasing rates of chronic conditions with “innovations’’ from modern medicine. Meanwhile, the rates of each of these conditions keep going up. I left traditional medicine to discover the real reasons why people get sick. There is a better way, and it starts with understanding that the biggest lie in health care is that the root cause of why we’re getting sicker, heavier, more depressed, and more infertile are complicated. The truth is depression, anxiety, acne, infertility, insomnia, heart disease, erectile dysfunction, type 2 diabetes, Alzheimer’s dementia, cancer, and most other conditions that torture and shorten our lives are actually rooted in the same thing. And the ability to prevent and reverse these conditions—and feel incredible today—is under your control and simpler than you think. By investigating the root causes, I transformed health outcomes for my patients and myself. I used these insights to help start @Levels and give people more insight into their metabolic health data. But there is a bottoms-up revolution happening in health empowerment. People are waking up and asking questions. The insights I learned on my quest couldn't save my mom in time. But after her death, my brother @calleymeans and I vowed to write a book to help stop this cycle.

The idea of giving a newborn the hepatitis B vaccine (followed by 2 additional doses) if the baby is born to parents *without hepatitis B* is absolute insanity and should make every American pause and question the healthcare system’s mandates. The disease is transmitted through needles and sex exclusively. There is no benefit to the baby or the wider population for a child to get this vaccine who is not at risk for sexual or IV transmission. There is only risk. Kids who don’t have this unnecessary pharmaceutical can’t go to school in many states. EVERYONE should become curious about why these interventions are institutionally jammed down our throats and people are made to be heretical whackos for questioning it.
The Hepatitis B vaccine is mandated for children to attend public schools in 47 states. Hepatitis B is transmitted through needles or sexual contact, so why is this vaccine pushed babies on their first day of life? Doctors don’t have a valid answer. In fact, if you ask them why your child needs the Hep B shot on the first day of life, they give you the lame excuse that there could be a hepatitis B-infected needle on the playground. The thing is, there are ZERO documented cases of a child contracting Hepatitis B from an infected needle found on a playground. Ex-pharma consultant @calleymeans says, “If the same fervor that our institutions use to push vaccines was pushed towards not poisoning kids with our food, we would save trillions of dollars in healthcare costs. Not only that. “We would not have a budget crisis in this country” and “We would unlock human capital like we can't even believe.” “So anyone that says lifestyle interventions fail is totally full of sh*t. The piggy bank for medicine is basically managing lifestyle conditions that aren't cured yet.”

From the FDA GRAS ("Generally Recognized As Safe") website -- do you understand why this "review" program is so problematic for our food safety? 👇 "For a food additive, privately held data and information about the use of a substance are sent by the sponsor to FDA, which evaluates those data and information to determine whether they establish that the substance is safe under the conditions of its intended use (21 CFR 171.1). Thus, for a food additive, FDA determines the safety of the ingredient; whereas a determination that an ingredient is GRAS can be made by qualified experts outside of government." "The notifier should discuss information supporting the GRAS determination, as well as any information that would appear to be inconsistent with a GRAS determination, and explain why, in light of the totality of the information, the notifier concludes the substance is GRAS under the intended conditions of use." Words that should raise red flags: - Privately held data - Sent by the sponsor to the FDA - The notifier concludes that substance is GRAS This just doesn't seem like a foolproof safety system. Where is the burden of proof to protect Americans? -> The corporations profiting off our addiction and illness. We're asleep at the wheel. This is how we get 10,000 chemicals allowed in our food. fda.gov/food/generally-recog…

Studies show that humans spend only 7.6% of their time outdoors. As a physician, I believe this is the true root ROOT cause of our chronic disease epidemic and declining life span, and not just because of its impact on our chronobiology. Here's why? 👇 When we're outside, we get to observe nature, and we get the opportunity to witness the profound harmony, interconnectedness, and cycles that thread through the natural world. We see polarities and cycles that surround us to create life, health, and beauty: polarities like sleeping and waking, night and day, cold and hot, male and female, parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous system, high and low tide, alkaline and acidic. We observe cycles like spring to summer to fall to winter, and new moon to first quarter moon to full moon to last quarter moon. These rhythms surround us in nature, and they are our best teachers in achieving health, because they show us that the world is fundamentally harmonious even when things appear to swing between different states or poles. But in the modern world, living inside and so separate from nature, we have begun to ignore, fight, or suppress natural polarities and cycles, under the illusion that they are suboptimal and we can outsmart them: - Through industrial agriculture, we've asked the soil to give us endless summer. - Through the widespread use of oral hormones for everything from acne to PCOS to contraception, we've trivialized the stunning- and miraculously lifegiving - rhythmicity of women's bodies. - Through around the clock artificial light, we've created the illusion that we don't need night. The results haven't been good. We've have forgotten that we get the best out of ALL natural systems (like nature and the body) not through dominance, oppression, and overworking, but through respect, care, and gentle support. In our busy, distracted, industrial lives, we've become separate from nature, and therefore we've become fearful and controlling of its natural rhythms and realities. In that control, we've created a world that is expressly not conducive to human life. The results? Skyrocketing disease and declining human lifespans, and a mass extinction of other life forms. We are losing our minds (dementia and depression), we are losing our ability to reproduce (rampant infertility), we are attacking ourselves (autoimmune disease), and our hearts are literally broken (heart disease). All of these conditions are rooted in metabolic disease caused by an environment created to ameliorate the illusion of scarcity that can be healed by spending more time with nature. Metabolic disease is a dimming of our internal life force (ability to create cellular energy). Our life force is dimmed because we are disconnected from our life source (nature). Go outside. If you think this is an important message, repost this.

The stark economic reality is that nearly every institution that touches our health - from medical schools to insurance companies to hospitals to pharma - makes money on "managing" diseases, not curing patients. This is the highest level of why so many aspects of American society is set up to create illness. There’s no incentive to change it. Our current system incentivizes invasive therapies, prescriptions, and endless specialists visits over disease prevention and reversal strategies. A healthy patient is not profitable at all. These flaws in the system are due to the misaligned business model as well as a reductionist framework for the body that is outdated and needs an update. One of the saddest realities is that almost nothing is more profitable in our current “healthcare” than a chronically ill child: one who has underlying metabolic dysfunction and will need “management” for life, and will go through the revolving doors of “specialists” for the “co-morbidities” (branches of the metabolic tree) they rack up as they get older (high blood pressure, obesity, diabetes, heart disease, depression, etc.). We MUST advocate for our children by advocating for a systems change. As individuals, we can take control of our own health and our family’s health through nutrition, movement, stress relief, sleep hygiene, avoiding toxins in the products we buy, filtering our water, spiritual development, and more.

It’s hard for me to fathom that we have a chronic disease epidemic of such unprecedented proportions that it could bankrupt our country, infertility is through the roof, cancer is now affecting one in two adult men, dementia is skyrocketing, and even DOCTORS and medical groups won’t speak CLEARLY or even express curiosity around empowering diet and lifestyle messages. It’s like the healthcare system is a in a delusional haze. People DO by in large listen to doctors - people will go right under that knife in the operating room if the doctor says to - so imagine if every doctor was CRYSTAL clear about getting rid of the toxic crap in our food and our homes. Instead the medical leaders stand silent and are wishy-washy and even patronizing and dismissive about food… as Rome burns. As we spend MORE money on healthcare cost, health outcomes are getting WORSE. Because we aren’t dealing with the real problem - our TOXIC environment. The fact that every doctor in America is not using every platform they have to tell people in extremely plain language to stop eating toxic food is absolutely astonishing. There is a lack of boldness and moral clarity happening in the healthcare conversation - with some obvious exceptions like the many healthcare voices I admire and respect so much. But generally there is so much fear about getting called out. We need to collectively grow a backbone and wake up- we think life is going to be easier like this? Tip toeing around the real issues while 30% of young people now have prediabetes and people are getting Alzheimer’s at 50? Ultra processed foods are ravaging the bodies of our kids, ourselves, and our parents. Our medical leaders and all of us need to speak clearly. Get rid of the toxic food. Grateful to @KenDBerryMD for having these convos and being one of the bold ones.

Human bodies and minds - especially children’s - are profit centers for large industries. The question that is foundational for industry (who’s dictum is shareholder returns): how much can we possibly put IN (food, sugar, oils, shows, chemicals, shots, meds) and take OUT (attention, money, energy, time, organs) from this body for profit. You can opt out today. Get sunlight. Be outside as much as humanly possible. Be around trees and flowers a lot. Eat food from the farmers market. Find a regenerative farm and spend them there. Never eat a bite of ultraprocessed food ever again. Do not eat non-organic food. Meditate. Pray. Read. Write. Sleep a lot. Start your day with an outdoor walk no matter the weather. Say no to everything that isn’t a FULL BODY YES (people, meetings, events, trips, retreats, opportunities, etc). Know your priorities and cultivate MASSIVELY strong boundaries. Spend lots of time with people who make your heart sing. Take high quality supplements. Get rid of every single artificially-scented or artificially-colored product within 100 feet of you. Reverse osmosis filter your water. Practice gratitude obsessively. Avoid taking non critical medications that take like candy like Tylenol, reflux meds, NSAIDs, etc and instead ask your symptoms what they’re trying to tell you about your body’s needs not getting met. Focus time each day on awe, including awe at the miracle of being alive. Spend time with animals, babies, and elders. Regularly lock your phone in a K-safe for extended periods and do activities that require not having a phone or there is not cell service (ie rafting, surfing, remote hiking, extended backpacking trips). Slow the F down. Question any institution or ideological social contagion that says these things are wrong or dangerous or bad. That’s the best advice I can give after unlearning most of what I learned in medical school and spending 7 years actually working to understand what our cells need. What would you add to this list?

ALL politicians regardless of party affiliation should read and understand these 12 policy ideas. PLEASE share this nuanced and powerful article from @RobertKennedyJr on 12 SPECIFIC policies that would address the root cause of why American health is destroyed, and how to quickly improve it. READ THE POLICIES - this should give you HOPE! This is LEADERSHIP! Thank you @WSJ for publishing this! 👇 1. Reform the Prescription Drug User Fee Act. Pharmaceutical companies pay a fee every time they apply for a new drug approval, and this money makes up about 75% of the budget of the Food and Drug Administration’s drug division. That creates a barrier to entry to smaller firms and puts bureaucrats’ purse strings in the hands of the pharmaceutical industry. 2. Prohibit members of the U.S. Department of Agriculture Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee from making money from food or drug companies. Ninety-five percent of the members of a USDA panel charged with most recently updating nutrition guidelines had conflicts of interest. This is from the same government that brought you a National Institutes of Health research finding that Lucky Charms are healthier than ground beef. 3. Review direct-to-consumer pharmaceutical ad guidelines. The U.S. and New Zealand are the only countries that allow pharmaceutical companies to advertise directly to the public. News channels are filled with drug commercials, and reasonable viewers may question whether their dependence on these ads influences their coverage of health issues. 4. Change federal regulation so that NIH funds can’t go to researchers with conflicts of interest. A 2019 ProPublica analysis of disclosures going back to 2012 found that over 8,000 federally funded health researchers reported significant financial conflicts of interest. 5. Level the playing field for Americans internationally on drug costs. Today in Germany, Ozempic costs less than a tenth of what it does in the U.S. because while Berlin negotiates prices on behalf of all Germans, Washington can’t do the same. Legislators should cap drug prices so that companies can’t charge Americans substantially more than Europeans pay. 6. Stop allowing beneficiaries of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program to use their food stamps to buy soda or processed foods. Nine percent of all SNAP funding goes to sweetened drinks, according to 2011 data. It’s nonsensical for U.S. taxpayers to spend tens of billions of dollars subsidizing junk that harms the health of low-income Americans. 7. Revisit pesticide and other chemical-use standards. As of 2019, the U.S. allowed 72 pesticides that the European Union bans. We also allow chemicals in food and skin care that the bloc doesn’t. Some of these chemicals are quite common to our daily lives. Though glyphosate isn’t currently banned EU-wide due to disagreement between member states, it’s approved for use only through the end of 2033, when the issue will be revisited. Meanwhile in the U.S. the University of California, San Francisco, in 2015 found the chemical in 93% of the urine samples it studied. 8. Require nutrition classes and functional medicine in federally funded medical schools. Today, 7 out of 10 of the leading killers of Americans are chronic diseases that are preventable, sometimes through improved eating habits. Yet about 80% of medical schools don’t require a course in nutrition. 9. Reform crop subsidies. They make corn, soybeans and wheat artificially cheap, so those crops end up in many processed forms. Soybean oil in the 1990s became a major source of American calories, and high-fructose corn syrup is everywhere. Our subsidy program is so backward that less than 2% of farm subsidies go to fruits and vegetables. 10. Issue new presidential fitness standards. My uncle John F. Kennedy was right in 1960 when he wrote, “The physical vigor of our citizens is one of America’s most precious resources.” The Presidential Fitness Test that President Obama ditched should be reinstated. 11. Devote half of research budgets from the NIH toward preventive, alternative and holistic approaches to health. In the current system, researchers don’t have enough incentive to study generic drugs and root-cause therapies that look at things like diet. 12. Increase patient choice by giving every American a health savings account. HSAs are a bipartisan healthcare policy that saves Americans money and gives them financial support in healthcare outside insurance. In many cases, food and exercise interventions are clinically the best medicine. With an HSA, a pre-diabetic can choose with his doctor whether to devote medical dollars to a drug like metformin or a root-cause intervention like a gym membership.

Why are people so afraid of calling out bad food? Where is the moral clartiy on the reality of what is going on? In the US, people are getting Alzheimer’s at 50, nearly a million people dying of heart disease per year, half of the country has prediabetes or type 2 diabetes, we’re becoming more infertile, sick, obese, and depressed every year.... and we’re not suppose to call out the toxic food supply that is directly causing these problems as BAD? What? I hope everyone realizes this trend is because processed food companies want us to be divorced from our common sense so we don’t question the existence of these toxic pseudo-foods in our food supply, and the healthcare industry profits off our illness. These are REAL headlines: - Washington Post: “There’s no such thing as ‘bad food.’” - British Heart Foundation: “Why there’s no such thing as ‘good’ or ‘bad’ foods” - Everyday Health: “The Case Against Food Morality: Why Foods Aren’t ‘Good’ or ‘Bad’” - Good Housekeeping: “Why There Is No Such Thing As “Good” or “Bad” Foods” - Daily Mail: “Dietitian explains why there is no such thing as ‘good’ and ‘bad’ foods” We need moral leadership to call out the poisonous food supply. Check out my podcast with @bradleykearns out today.

Don’t trust doctors. Don’t trust influencers. Don’t trust “the science.” Don’t trust me. Trust YOURSELF. Never forget that nearly every industry in the world benefits from YOU being divorced from your common sense, body awareness, and intuition. With dissociation and distrust from ourselves, we can be sold “solutions” for our existential fear and confusion. Science is an industry. There’s a place and utility for biomedical science, and there’s also a place for using our big, powerful brains to understand what is right for our bodies and lives and what isn’t. We have the most amazing opportunity right now to live the longest and happiest lives in human history and I think this will require 4 things: 1. Analyzing research with eyes wide open and NOT trusting it purely in face value bc it’s “science” 2. Using the best of modern tools and tech like wearables and direct to consumer lab testing to take ownership of our OWN health 3. Exploring the incalculable health wisdom from global traditions and cultures, AND 4. Developing our own body awareness, SELF-TRUST, and spiritual expansion. The future of health is owning our own health, not outsourcing it. We are all a spark of the universe. Never forget it.

The is literally NO amount of money we could put towards our current "healthcare" paradigm that will actually generate health in Americans because the money we'd be spending does nothing to fundamentally help the mitochondria work properly. Our healthcare crisis (obesity, chronic disease, mental illness, dementia, infertility) is fundamentally a mitochondrial crisis. And the mitochondria are damaged because of the newly toxic environment our bodies (cells) exist in across the vectors of food, sleep, movement, stress/trauma, light, and toxins. The only way to fix the mitochondria is through a wholesale fixing of the environment that our cells exist in, are built from, and are instructed by (the food, sleep, movement, stress/trauma, light, and toxins) with some micro-optimization on the extreme margins (maybe) with supplements and drugs. You could spend $10 trillion more on further investments in our current approach and it won't heal our bodies. We'd might be better off burning that money, since many of the whack-a-mole symptom-management interventions are actually harmful. Any investment in the current sick-care system, "access to care," healthcare "efficiency" is not solving the real problem. Sounds nice at cocktail parties and conferences; won't work. Most investors, politicians, and individuals don't seem to understand that throwing more money at a fundamentally broken framework based on false premises is NOT the answer (i.e., the premise of the body being a bunch of systems rather than a unified whole; the premise of disease classification based on histopathology, symptoms, and signs rather than physiologic underpinnings; the premise that quality food is an after-thought or "nice to have" in health despite our bodies being built - quite literally- 100% from food, and food compounds being our key genetic regulators and cell signaling molecules). We need to throw money at cleaning the air and water, healing the soil (regenerative farming), subsidizing sustainably grown food, getting outside, prioritizing sleep and psychological healing, all-day movement, etc... we'll heal rapidly. It'll be fun too.

Perhaps the most disappointing thing about the last few years is that the phrase "trust the science" made it into the zeitgeist as a legitimate statement rather than be universally called out for the mind-control propaganda that it is. First, there is no set cannon that constitutes "the science" (it is a constantly evolving and dynamic set of experiments and conclusion). Second, by definition, "science" is meant to be scrutinized and continually tested, not "trusted." Let's not even get into the fact that much of the scientific papers coming out today are industry-purchased propaganda. Why aren't we collectively rejecting this absurd concept of "trusting the science" at the top of our lungs? It was created by media and puppets of industry in government to shame us all into shutting up and not asking questions and to virtue-shame anyone who questioned mainstream media's position.

We need to get back to controlling our own food. Growing it. Picking it. Direct relationships with farmers. Visiting the farms our food comes from. Our body is 100% molecularly made from food. We are now totally disconnected from how our food is grown and produced. Therefore we are disconnected from ourselves. The “convenience culture” is destroying us and is a fallacy. There is nothing more inconvenient that being sick, and our easiest way to stay health is real unprocessed food from good soil. To quote former secretary Henry Kissinger, “Control the food and you control the nation.” Yet only 27% of family meals are homemade now. Our ultra-processed food system is a control mechanism under the guise of empowerment. DO NOT FALL FOR IT. We thought convenience was empowering. But in reality, we handed control of our health over to corporations that profit off of our addiction and don’t give a shit about our health. Their incentives are profit first, not nutrition - and we entered the trap of preventable chronic disease. As a capitalistic society, we decided cooking wasn’t worth our time — get everyone out of the home to work! Get the kids in school all day to be fed by others! What happened? Everyone is sick as hell. Homemade real-food meals are necessary for mental and metabolic health. We are being so shortsighted. Only 30% of families eat together regularly (source: Harvard Graduate School of Education). Rates of obesity, diabetes, and depression have skyrocketed. We must reclaim time for thoughtful meal preparation as an investment in our families, our health, and our future prosperity.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but weren’t type 2 diabetes rates less than 1% 50 years ago? Aren’t 1 in 2 adult men now developing cancer in their lifetime? Isn’t infertility rising at around 1% per year? Don’t about 30% of young adults now have prediabetes? Can someone define for me what Sutter Health means by “progress”? Progress to me would mean FEWER people were getting sick, but what do I know. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Humans: the ONLY species in the world with "experts" and "evidence based medicine," and the ONLY species in the world with a chronic disease and obesity epidemic. Think about who profits from you being indoctrinated to disregard common sense and intuition. Answer: Not you.

Pesticides are a slow-motion extinction event. The lasting domino effects on health, fertility, cancer, neurodegeneration, global biodiversity, topsoil integrity, ocean and aquatic life, and more I think could potentially push us reach a tipping point. We’re poisoning the intricate web of life for a fall sense of convenience and efficiency. Please pay attention, speak up, and choose differently. And for the love of God never buy Roundup.

HR 4818 Treat and Reduce Obesity Act of 2023 is a wolf in sheep's clothing that will cost taxpayers TRILLIONS per year. It is just about the last line (highlighted below): to get taxpayers to pay for lifelong obesity jabs under Medicare for the 74% of the population who are elligible (overweight or obese). This could represent over $3 TRILLION PER YEAR of taxpayer money being funneled largely to European corporations (like NovoNordisk) for GLP-1 agonist shots, and won't address any of the root causes of obesity. Tag your representatives. Learn to read between the lines.

At this unique moment in history, I believe we have the scientific understanding and the accessible tools to live the longest, happiest, healthiest lives in human history. And yet, we’re getting sicker every year and our life expectancy is going down. You can opt-out of that trajectory and set yourself up for an energized, empowered, and healthy life, but it requires you to think for yourself, question mainstream narratives, potentially piss some people off, and go against the tide of several “prestigious” institutions. Are you willing?

Ironic that almost every other commercial during the Super Bowl was either for something that CAUSES diabetes or something that TREATS diabetes. Doritos ➡️ Dexcom G6 CGM ➡️ Pringles ➡️ Trulicity ➡️ Cheetos. Highly profitable but sad cycle. When are we going to wake up?

If someone has the monetary resources to do things like own an iPhone or travel internationally once a year, they should be prioritizing buying and eating exclusively organic food. Nothing is more valuable than buying food that doesn't gently poison us with every bite.

- 19 BILLION lbs of glyphosate sprayed. - 80k+ synthetic toxins in food, water, air, homes, and personal care products. -Circadian rhythms destroyed. -Fear inducing media streamed to our devices 24 hrs a day. That’s the tip of the iceberg. This is NOT a “mysterious” epidemic.

Modern medicine has over ONE HUNDRED specialties focusing on isolated body parts and systems. More specialization has led to worse health outcomes. We’ve never been sicker. Ultra specialization leads to a fragmented view of health, which serves to line the pockets of specialists but doesn’t heal patients which it comes to chronic acquired symptoms and diseases. The body is fully interconnected, with core conserved signaling pathways and cell activity happening in cells all over the body, and the SAME underlying dysfunctional physiology (like mitochondrial dysfunction, oxidative stress, and insulin resistance) often leading to diseases in different parts of the body. The reason these LOOK like different diseases and symptoms is because that same underlying physiological dysfunction is showing up in different cell TYPES. That doesn’t mean its a fundamentally different problem. We have to start looking at health on the physiology level, not just the symptom level. When we do that, we will realize we have a lot LESS to treat: we can pull the weed out from the root, rather than just trim the leaves. Drugs don't effectively hit those core pathways and processes in the body that have gone off the rails. Surgery certainly doesn't touch them. You can't operate on oxidative stress or mitochondrial dysfunction, which are part of complex systems of cells (so linear solutions won't work). Lifestyle changes like nutrition and movement are complex inputs with multidimental impact and therefore can positively impact processes like oxidative stress and mitochondrial dysfunction. They nudge the core physiologic pathways that create so much of the disease burden we’re seeing today. This is the essence of network biology, systems biology, and functional medicine, and its the biggest blindspot in healthcare.

80% of US healthcare spending goes towards treating preventable chronic illness. Imagine a world where chronic conditions like heart disease and diabetes are RARE because we addressed the root causes. What if we never had to treat disease again because we prevented it from occurring in the first place? Thanks @JillianMichaels for mentioning me on @RealTimers with @billmaher and speaking about upstream medicine and @Levels What exactly is upstream medicine? 👩‍⚕️🩺 - It focuses on PREVENTION by addressing the root societal, environmental, and behavioral causes of illness, rather than just reacting once diagnosis occurs. For example, heart disease develops over DECADES due to diet, activity levels, sleep quality, stress, and other modifiable lifestyle factors interacting with genetics and environment. Upstream medicine aims to uncover those risk factors early on and help people make sustainable lifestyle changes before disease ever gets a chance to take hold. Our current medical system still heavily incentivizes downstream, reactionary care - diagnosing and treating disease once it emerges rather than preventing it in the first place. This has to change. We need to shift focus upstream 🚣‍♀️ to keep people healthy. Small lifestyle changes prompted by identifying risk factors early on can prevent the onset of chronic illness down the road. It’s time we get to the root cause.

We all feel it. Something isn't right. At all. We're getting sicker, more depressed, and more infertile every year despite increased spending. In Good Energy, @calleymeans and I unpack the root cause of why the "healthcare" and "food" systems are broken, why Americans -- from infants to the elderly -- are getting sicker every single year, and exactly what you can do to fix it. I believe the solutions are much simpler than you've been led to believe. #GoodEnergy

WE ARE LIVING IN A BIZARRO WORLD. Government subsidizes high fructose corn syrup. Puts Lunchables in schools. Then wants to inject 12 yr olds w Ozempic and put them under the knife for bariatric surgery. PUSH BACK LOUDLY. Children are becoming a profit center for industry.
Maybe we could just try not poisoning kids? 🤷🏻‍♂️ That would be easier than injecting them and cutting open their stomachs “at the highest available intensity.”

I think vaccine mandates are criminal. I think corruption in the FDA is making it so that we can’t get any clear public data about safety. I think RFK is doing God’s work in calling all this out. I seek out vaccine safety experts like JB Handley and others to learn more as it’s not my area of expertise and I share that work. I’ve blasted the insane vaccine schedule at length on every major podcast I’ve been on. Yesterday the NYT attacked me for my stance “condemning” the 1986 vaccine liability act that protects industry and not people. My opinion is not a mystery, people seem to just be conveniently ignoring it.

💪🗣️ THANK YOU to everyone who has supported GOOD ENERGY and made it the #1 bestselling book on Amazon for several days. We are heartened that so many of you agree that we need a radical redirection of our healthcare system and norms around diet and lifestyle. This is not a marginal issue - this is THE issue of our time. Our food system is poisoning us, our lifestyle norms are marginally working to support functional cells, and our health and lifespans are getting poorer by the year. Kids and adults are mentally and physically sick as hell. We’re being gaslit to think it’s complicated. There are easy fixes. Let’s go. 👊 @amazon has blown through their original stock of hardcover and they are receiving tens of thousands of new copies over the coming days, so if you are seeing a lengthy shipping estimate, it will likely come far sooner. Our team is working hard to make sure everywhere is getting regular and rapid restocking. Thank you for ordering the book and creating this demand! So grateful to these wonderful individuals for helping spread the message of Good Energy in the world! @hubermanlab @drmarkhyman @levels @fatburningman @drgabriellelyon @kevinrose @bewellbykelly @drjoshaxe @drmarkhyman @gabbyreece @jasonwachob @mindbodygreen @shawnmodel @daveasprey @dhrupurohit @alliebstuckey @ethansuplee @casparszulc @michele_lamoureux @chase_chewning and so many more 🙏 Get your copy of Good Energy today.

Screwed up cells, screwed up society. Violence to our soil, our microbiome, and biodiversity is violence to ourselves. Because it’s all one and all connection. The things that screw up our cells are ultraprocessed foods, poor sleep, being sedentary, environmental toxins (that includes casual use of common medications), junk artificial light, too little sunshine, thermoneutrality, chronic fear and chronic overwhelm. When we comprehensively support the needs of our cells we move towards bliss. It’s all simple. I wrote a book about it. If you don’t feel incredible most the time, and want to, I think it can help. Good Energy.

Metabolism is how we transform cosmic energy (food with photon energy stored in the carbon bonds of plants) to consciousness (powered by cellular energy, ATP). Insulin resistance is a block to cosmic energy (solar energy) being allowed INTO the human cell to be liberated into human energy. Insulin resistance is therefore a block to the flow of cosmic energy through us. Mitochondrial dysfunction causes insulin resistance. Everything you do to improve mitochondrial function, quantity, or throughput increases the unbridled flow of cosmic energy through you. Which is pretty cool. So go lift something heavy and take a walk.

Death is simply the complete cessation of metabolic function. No more cosmic energy flowing through us to create ATP. Lights off. Ergo, anything we do to hurt metabolic function is a choice to be a little bit dead, while we’re alive. (This is basically “chronic disease”). Living to our fullest potential means protecting our mitochondria so energy can flow through us (food energy ➡️ cellular energy) and not be blocked/stifled. This is why we make the seemingly “hard” choices to eat the fresh whole food, filter water, take walks, lift weights, avoid scented products, get morning sunlight, meditate, etc etc etc. Because why would we want to dip our toe farther in the grave DURING the precious brief moment in eternity we’re actually alive? Remember, when we’re walking dead, we’re much easier to control, exploit, and profit off of. Reject it. Shine bright.
