Last week, Anthony Fauci notified us he will NOT voluntarily testify before the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, even though he had previously agreed to do so. Therefore, today I have issued a subpoena requiring him to testify before the Committee, in public, next month.

I’ve referred Anthony Fauci to the DOJ for prosecution on 4 different occasions. Two under Joe Biden. Two under Donald Trump. 

We have another opportunity to hold Dr. Fauci accountable. I’m hopeful the DOJ will act.

We can keep having votes on the SAVE America Act. We can keep making it a campaign issue. Both matter. The goal is to make "Democrats want illegal aliens to vote in your elections" a sentence every American knows and understands. That's not a hard argument to win. We just have to be willing to make it, loudly and repeatedly, until it sticks.

Cheating in elections has always been in the absentee ballot. In the 1950s, a member of FDR's cabinet got caught stuffing 500 absentee ballots in Kentucky. That was the only way to cheat because in-person voting is hard to rig. Now we mail ballots to everyone unsolicited, nobody watches them get signed, and we make it legal to collect 10,000 at once. We built the vulnerability ourselves. The SAVE America Act is the right fight at the federal level, but I refuse to give up at the state level either.

Gain-of-function research in foreign labs is a public health threat. Funding it with taxpayer dollars without oversight is reckless. Hiding the evidence is a crime against the American people. Dr. Fauci's NIH did all three. They funded dangerous experiments in Wuhan, buried the evidence, and silenced anyone who tried to tell the truth. I have spent years fighting to expose it, and I am not finished.

I've referred Fauci to the DOJ four times, twice under Biden, twice under Trump, and no action has been taken yet. But Biden's autopen pardon may not be worth the paper it's written on. I support President Trump's push for diplomacy with Iran. Endless war is not a strategy. Lasting peace requires negotiation, tradeoffs, and the courage to choose diplomacy over regime change.

Tonight I will vote present on the War Powers resolution. My opinion on the debate over war and executive power has not changed and I have voted that way several times. But since hostilities seem to be over and the President asked me to give consideration to his negotiating position, I will do so. My vote of present is a way to give the President more space and leverage to negotiate a lasting peace.

I questioned Dr. Fauci under oath, and he lied. I referred him for criminal prosecution, but Washington stonewalled me. And while I was fighting every step of the way, Fauci was quietly collecting a taxpayer-funded pension worth more than $400,000 a year.
