When we say tokenized stocks are meant to be composable, this is what we mean. And we're only just beginning.

Backed has always had the goal of creating tokenized securities that are as freely transferable as USDC. At this, we’ve succeeded. The move to application-level KYC as opposed to token-level whitelisting is well overdue. Application-level KYC allows for modularity and less liquidity fragmentation. It creates environments where TradFi institutions feel more comfortable on public chains while not impeding seamless DeFi usage of the token itself. It can’t be understated how much of a gamechanger this is for tokenized securities. Tokenization only makes sense if it creates a better experience than TradFi - and that's exactly what we're building. We want to see public chains win.
