TV news used to be an expense. 🧧 NBC, CBS, et. al. were 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 to devote a certain amount of time to it. Then 60 Minutes ⏲️ came along and showed news could be profitable. 💵 Once profit came into it, opinion won on cost, and opinion won on revenue. The end.
