We can use zero-knowledge proofs to solve the dilemma of retaining privacy whilst staying compliant. If I can prove I’m not on a list and haven’t interacted with addresses that are, I should be able to keep my identity private and transact as I wish. Are any teams building this?

We’re making some big changes today:
1) OpenSea fee → 0% for a limited time
2) Moving to optional creator earnings (0.5% min) for all collections without on-chain enforcement (old & new)
3) Marketplaces with the same policies will not be blocked by the operator filter

Accredited investor laws in the US definitely solidify incumbents position at the expense of retail. A simple “investor driving test” should be sufficient to make sure people are aware of the risks and opportunities. We don’t need a paternalistic SEC entrenching wealth inequality
