you won't want to believe it, but infidelity is very common in India when the entire Indian society's idea of marriage is getting it "arranged", the probability of finding similar value systems between life partners is non-zero. and so when there is no love within marriage, there is love outside marriage. hence choosing your life partner is by far the most important decision you are going to make in your life. it literally determines your baseline happiness for the next 50 years. countless scientific pieces of evidence prove that. it's more important than getting the right job and how much money you make. when you "settle down" on a life partner you’re choosing a lot of things, including your parenting partner and someone who will deeply influence your children, your eating companion for about 20,000 meals, your travel companion for about 100 vacations, your primary leisure time and retirement friend, your career therapist, and someone whose day you’ll hear about 18,000 times. so given that this is by far the most important thing in life to get right, we as a society should collectively think about upskilling ourselves in order to choose a partner that's right for us. and NOT what the society "arranges" for us.

as an indian adult, it’s absolutely important to start making money & most importantly, stop relying on your parents money asap. why? bec it takes time to hone your assertiveness, independence & judgment. goes parallel with how much you save. parents fund should be a last resort.

it has been brought to my attention that i am "being salty and spreading hate" and "attacking" people. i don't think you folks understand the meaning of hate - or the weight of the accusations you've thrown at me. hating and attacking people are aggressive actions that come from a place of malice - i have neither, i am just a cute silly unemployed boy with a santa hat. @Saxenasaheb and @RahulDesignWeb3 - in your 30s (a decade older than me) with kids - leading @base, @DacoitDesign, @callusfbi - have thousands of very impressionable kids looking up to you wanting to replicate your success and this is the example you want to set for the community? you're using your platform, reputation and power to talk ill about someone who didn't agree with you and you are instigating your very impressionable followers against them. there are literally people in crypto who use derogatory language on the daily, are outed as sexual predators, scammers - and you decided that hating on me was the highest impact thing you could do. this is what it means to NOT be positive sum people, btw. 𝟏. 𝐨𝐧 𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 the polygon tweet was a popular meme format, and let's face it - polygon was the largest recruiter in indian web3 - hence it is statistically true that the worst person (and the best person) you'd know is probably from polygon. regardless, a meme. @Saxenasaheb, i have never said i dislike chain abstraction - i have only asked questions, and raised critical points about what kind of infra we are prioritising versus who the end users are, and if they need it. i have never mentioned or called out or talked ill about any CA project or individual - my questions are aimed at the fundamentals of CA as a concept. in web2, this is called first principles thinking and questioning to open a dialogue. which is crucial for product building - especially when the contributions are permissionless and distributed. i didn't know it was called attacking in web3. 𝟐. 𝐨𝐧 𝐦𝐲 "𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫" 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐲 "𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞" this is lowkey funny because: - i am a first generation college goer. - i was born in a small village in kerala, india, and i (mostly) live in jayanagara, bengaluru, which is also in india. - i attended a very small college on the outskirts of pune, and started working when i was 17 writing billboard ads for bajaj finserv - paid for my college through that. (if you were in pune in 2020 and saw any billboard ads for bajaj, that was me hehe) - as of today, i am the only working member of my family. my dad had to take a break from work after a cancer diagnosis in 2024. (he's recovering and enjoying not being a workaholic after 40 years of working - he too, joined the workforce at 17) @RahulDesignWeb3 i have a lot of respect for you as someone who climbed up the socioeconomic ladder on their own merit - so seeing you diminish my efforts is saddening. once again, this is what it means to NOT be a positive sum person btw. just because i don't talk about all this, does not mean i am "privileged". as i say in my bio, don't assume. 𝟑. 𝐨𝐧 "𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠" 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐡𝐚𝐢 𝐜𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐥 listen, i have never hated on the bhai cabal. i spoke up about the bhai cabal, and not any specific individuals who are a part of the bhai cabal. my exact words were: "good communities (and by extension, their tokens) only work when positive sum people rally around a positive sum mission - and the bhai cabal has neither" and as i have clearly demonstrated with the behaviour of folks who call themselves members of the bhai cabal - i was right. x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x final thoughts: listen - i do not want to give you advice, in fact, i shouldn't need to. every single one of you is at least a decade older than me. but the behaviour you have exhibited today was wildly juvenile, immature, and at its worst, an attempt at baseless character assassination. please do better. you have so many looking up to you.

Cypherpunk hackathon submissions are TOMMOROW my advice (as a serial @colosseum hackathon's participant which changed my life trajectory in birthing and scaling @asgardfi): JUST SUBMIT IT ---- other than my eternal gratitude to @SuperteamIN members for pushing me to submit application first time around participating, here are some tips for the last 24 hours: 1. don't take yourself so seriously - relax, sleep for a bit and do a 10 minutes 4-7-8 breathing exercise to shake off your imposter syndrome remember you miss 100% of the shots you don't take shoot your shot and kill the part inside you that self rejects your application 2. work very hard on the hook of your submission because judges have 1000+ submission to review you just have 30 seconds to impress them, think of judges as scrolling through submissions as you scroll instagram reels your headline, your brief bio are 100x more important than fixing CSS or writing test cases use dead simple obvious english so that they can quickly get who is your target customer, what outcome will you help them achieve with some brief description of your secret sauce leverage GPT for soundboarding but write the final submission yourself, judges are smart people they are well attuned to AI slop by now 3. once the application is done, you can keep working on your product and making it better it takes a while for the judge to reach your application in 1000+submissions play to win
It’s the final countdown to the @Solana Cypherpunk Hackathon! 2 days left for founders to submit their crypto products to compete for prizes, pre-seed funding, accelerator acceptance, and Solana glory.

been struggling with coffee addiction and decided to full port to matcha, so far so good! the following helped me rationalize: - shot of espresso: ~63mg caffeine, very fast absorption in bloodstream, but creates jitters if you overdo followed by crash in 2 hrs, needing to take more caffeine - shot of matcha: ~70g caffeine bounded with L-theanine, slow absorption in bloodstream, 6 hours calm focus with no crash matcha gives you all the caffeine upsides without the downsides that led me to ingesting more caffeine which fucked with my sleep plus it also comes with large doses of catechins (helps with fat burn and heart health), flavinoids (helps with brain focus), polyphenols (helps with gut health, blood sugar control), and extremely high dose of antioxidants (helps with cellular protection and anti aging) if you don't like the matcha powder taste, add ice to remove bitterness, honey as natural sweetner to balance the grassy notes and lemon to lift the flavor overtime as black coffee grew over your taste buds, matcha will also grow over you

Last day while studying hyperliquid’s numbers I noticed that builder codes have cumulatively onboarded ~56k users. Of these 23k are from phantom. Each day phantom adds ~300 users to hyper liquid. That’s the TAM for perp/futures products. Equally scary and intriguing.

at Token2049 last week, spoke with marketing and BD leadership from various EVM ecosystem chains. most of my discussions revolved around understanding the pain points they face in their customer marketing funnel. several times, I pointed them towards @kashdhanda and @akshaybd's stellar work, suggesting they could glean insights from their distribution efforts. disappointingly, their indifferent ad-hominem surface-level handy wavy responses spoke volumes to me. most are intellectually dishonest at this point, where you can't have an objective discussion based on real, hard, cold facts. ego always gets in the way. == separately, a shoutout to Kash and Akshay 🫡 these guys have sweated the inputs for the past 2 years to perfect the playbook of creating a demographic-based, tight-knit community at scale. good luck beating the distribution prowess of Solana at this point.

jo is one of the reasons i deeply love building on the internet and for the internet: - he was amongst the first people to respond to my cold DMs to jump on a call and jam around potential defi ideas when Asgard back then was a "concept of a plan" - has been testing out all our products in beta and given copious feedbacks - wrote the first angle check in asgard, the belief capital at that time fueled our small team for a very long time - has been the most active community member, instrumental in building out cultural vocabulary (/smGM, one stop yield shop) - gracious to host me in person and break bread with his family we come from different geographies and cultures, yet face the same reality of broken regional capital markets and financial services and these shared frustrations pushed our life trajectory in different timelines to roll up our sleeves to help build capital markets and services that are native to the internet, built on open rails, for anyone, anywhere finally getting the honor to play the long game of accelerating defi on @solana with him
A year ago, I met some impressively visionary founders at @asgardfi and knew I wanted in on their journey. After months of brainstorming and hanging out in the community, I’m proud to officially join the team as the new BD lead! Excited to build with these legends and help bring the wild vision to life. TCP/IP is the new H1B it already has been for me and for all @SuperteamIN members
Most of the ~150k Indian Masters students graduating in the US will NOT find jobs. Long post, let's deep dive. Indian Masters in the US have 3x’d in the last 5yrs to 300,000 current students, 2x even pre-pandemic highs. They represent 81% of all Indian students and ~30% of all international students in the US. As discretional wage has expanded in India, many companies have sprung up to help lower the barrier to entry for Indians to come to the US for their masters. 10yrs ago, it was ~4x less. Masters programs last 1-2yrs meaning ~150-200k students graduate this year and most will be out looking for a job. Why aren't their jobs? — Most are on loans and ~70% study CS / Engg. But there are simply not enough tech jobs to meet this demand. For comparison, all of Microsoft has ~100k engineers. — Visas are harder than ever before. The recent proposed rule for wage based H-1Bs mean fewer jobs will qualify. Add to that the 4yr F-1 cap means Day 1 CPT will no longer allow you to stay beyond the 3yrs of OPT if you don't get into the lottery. — Credible rumors signal that visas at least in this administration will continue to get harder. — BigTech hiring has still not recovered. Trends show that new graduates with 0-2yrs of experience are the worst affected. Going to the US for a Masters has been a reliable upward financial mobility route for Indians but that era seems to be coming to an end.

in hindsight, I realize that my parents made the best decision for my life by taking me on a trip to USA when i was shy of 8 years old. my father had figured out how to hack the LTC system in a govt job to subsidize international travel plus my uncle had moved there 20 years back so all in all the cost of travelling and staying there came under 1L/person. i tasted the American life at a very young impressionable age and sure felt the American dream. but it also made me feel that Delhi is mostly okay. i remember the plane flight from Boston to Delhi and the airports eerily feeling the same. the states sure does a fantastic job in propagating it's appeal through pop culture in order to make it the place to signal that you have made it in life. never had the dream that i saw in most Indians' eyes of moving and living in the states. probably saved a decade of my life.

Azuki, It's always both challenging & exciting opening up the gate to the Garden. This time, we missed the mark. We hear you - the mint process was hectic, the PFPs feel similar and, even worse, dilutive to Azuki.

It's hard to find people who value time over money in 🇮🇳 This is present in most transactions (business/personal) and you can extrapolate the compound effects at scale. When you find such people, go long on them.

how much can we add to 🇮🇳's GDP if our society can figure out a morally acceptable way to get college students in India to transition from being bored to death to have eyes that are gleaming with excitement. it physically hurts me that there are 40 million college students right now spending the most valuable time in their life studying outdated boring soul-soucking curriculum with teachers who don't even attribute the slides they have copied from and memorising for exams to answer questions that are either useless or have already been answered before in time in an era of Google and GPT (!!!!!!!!!!!!)

dating apps should productize these books instead of making yet another non commital swipe frenzy
a book on improving marriage without talking keeps going viral — i mostly see it as the intersection of love language / attachment style indeed it's powerful having even *very* simple awareness of how these two things play out and it's useful at work as it is at home notes:

if you are building a TG mini app for Radar Hackathon, highly recommend trying @usecapsule for embedded wallets.
Telegram has supported bots for a long time, so why has development activity exploded this year? I have some thoughts 😏 Virality - every dev dreams of their app going viral. TG offers a social-first environment where limitations encourage games that are easy to play. Bots can gamify group chats and discovering a new game is as simple as sending a text. Flexibility (onchain and off) - while many of the most popular TG apps are built on TON, you can build bots and mini-apps on any chain, or even entirely offchain Distribution - TG claims over 950 million users, nearly double that of X, 5x Discord, and at least 10x any onchain social platform At Capsule, we've thought a lot about Telegram as a platform. DM me if you want to discuss! nitter.app/usecapsule/status/1838…

was building design taste and an eye for what really delights an audience by making smol vfx showreels and making a ton of posters. learned my way around photoshop, after effects, what a GPU really is and how to build a custom pc cheaply. == was building a love for reading by devouring sci fi, teen romance, law cases, mythology especially Greek. remember when I woke up at 5 AM to pester dad to get Harry Potter’s 7th book and speedran it in 28 hours. also remember literal goosebumps whilst reading the last chapter of Da Vinci code. == was obsessing over the right strategy in playing age of empires and badminton. think most of my second order thinking comes from playing aoe and understanding that I am good at shot placement in badminton. == was building a muscle for jugaad by making money through making invite posters for nightclubs of Delhi. got promoted to design the vibe of events. probably learnt vanity pays really well in the markets and that you can program monkeys to do about anything when it comes to achieving status, just realised it very late in life. also remember feeling pride jailbraking my psp and then torrenting a bunch of games. remember my mom’s surprise that how come I have more games now that don’t require me putting little cds in psp. == was learning to be trusted with responsibility -head boy in 5th and 8th standard, stem rep for students council in high school. just didn’t know better how chomu a position of head boy is. have actively sought influence over authority once i knew the difference. == was learning how to play well with teams by actively seeking intra and inter school competitions that required a 3-5 member team. remember dominating most interschool computer science competitions. == my childhood was prolly the most privileged childhood. got love by my parents as much they could with what they knew, mostly didn’t get trauma, no physical abuse. dad became a friend and never really felt a sibling was missing. saw parents romancing each other. dad’s a kind introverted prolly one of the best mechanical engineer that I have met and mom is a kind extroverted teacher and prolly the best math teacher that I have met. got great baseline genetics to start with. infinite gratitude to parents and universe. had privilege now want to leverage it to drive my worldview in the world.

spitballing (+prompt for community members) thinking of a TikTok-viral, super-simple 2-player game that acts as an onboarding funnel into a Dark Forest–style on-chain MMO. ======== for Tiktok-viral, super simple 2 player game, idea: space Cold War tension (given the dynamics of the world right now) for starting scope: can keep it player vs NPC bot and then increase scope to player vs player story: you are a commander of a spaceship and you are fighting Elon for the scarest resource in the dark universe the $dark game play mechanic is similar to rock-paper-scissors: moves each player can make: - Deploy Miner Probe - sends miner probe to mine $dark - Launch Missiles - attacks the player - Run Recon - get's intel on enemy's last maneuver simulation of the game till 3 units of $dark are captured: Tiktok flow:
