Working dynamic in banking, law, accounting, consulting:

It's symbiotic: Sr members don't want to do work & Jr members don't know what they're doing.
Over time Srs get increasingly work-avoidant. Eventually just telling Jrs what to do is too ugh so they retire.
When they leave, high-value productive hrs get deleted from the economy.
AI will extend the productive life of knowledge workers. If doing the work is effortless, why not stick around longer?

...then apply hard-earned judgement to iterate and fit for client and deliver.

I'm excited for the boomers. Innovation usually accelerates young guns and pushes out oldies.
