Sorry, I didn't think you wanted a 200 page summary of the economic pressures & decline since 2015 to your 45 word tweet.
My bad but you're right (in part).
The comparisons & complexity to your comment does have significant variance depending on the lifestyle choices, geography, median standard of living, social expectations, socialist or capitalist viewpoints/leaning etc.
Sadly, most politicians & armchair narrators focus on minor points of division rather than finding actual solutions to the problems we're all facing.
Facts are that 🇨🇦 is in trouble on many fronts. Our national debt doubled since Trudeau, our debt carrying costs are unsustainable & growing, pressures from NATO/USA, impending tariffs, homelessness crisis, drug crisis, violent crime crisis, affordability crisis, banking scandals & bad debt looming for catastrophic defaults, racial division & racism, Canadians have one of the highest debt to income levels globally.... things are bad... not just one thing but many areas of serious concern.
This affects all Canadians, regardless of political leaning. We need to rethink, logically not merely ideologically, what 🇨🇦 do we want to leave for our kids & future generations.
This has to included economic sovereignty, social well-being, environmental challenges, fiscal management etc.
We probably need a revolution in Canada not just another useless set of politicians arguing & dividing Canadians further apart. Not a Bolshevik or French style revolution but more so an American style revolution refusing to comply with existing norms & political cronyism.
Is Trudeau to blame for everything? Of course not, Canadians are. We elected officials without expertise & competency to manage a country. We choose to take on unrealistic levels of consumer & business debt to live a lifestyle above our financial & economic means resulting in severe consequences to our communities & environment.
It's time for a radical departure from the present form of 🇨🇦 & come together to build a future for our children & next generations.
