This is not to boast but more of sanity check? I am going to politely ask everyone (including sponsors) to not send me anything for the next 2 months. I counted over 30+ projects/hardware that has been back logged still in boxes and or resting on tables or the floor (mostly floor). I am overwhelmed. It’s gotten to a point where I can’t fulfill obligations in a timely manner and I am feeling bad about it. I love what I do and wouldn’t trade it for anything else but I am a 1 man show and I feel like I don’t have enough time and the mental capacity to do it all (20 gpu rig I KNOW). I have spread myself out too thin in all aspects of life especially trying to have a work life balance with the wife and kid. What really kills me is those who message, ping me on discord or email me and I never get back to you. That I am sorry for and I hate it that I let you down. I wish I could communicate with everyone 1 on 1 for those who need it. Anyways just venting but I am still of course, going to provide the best mining content and entertainment I can for those who still want it. Just wanted to let everyone know and understand my situation, it isn’t all sunshine and rainbows over here even though it may look like it but I have compromised a lot which hurts other aspects in my life such as spending more time with family and even seeing irl friends. Doing youtube fulltime comes with a lot of sacrifice but I mean that goes with anything for anyone trying to simply be successful at something. I know a lot of people would like to be in my shoes but I have to say it’s not for the faint of heart. Many sleepless nights up till 5am just to finish an edit and upload. I know it’s a forced upload schedule which definitely puts the pressure on but I don’t want to fail the community. I put this on myself. Who wants to come here and help setup all my cpu rigs, 200 offline gpus, and run 6-8 more 30a 240v circuits? Lol

Not being bearish or anything, I'm all for Kaspa going up but most of the volume is coming from Gate io which is a Chinese Crypto Exchange which started in 2013. The conspiracy is since all the ASIC manufactures are in China, they can easily market provide liquidity and pump the price. It's funny Gate also had the most volume for Aleo when the new ASIC models were announced. Alephium also had the most volume on Gate when the Bitmain/Iceriver/Goldshells were released. I think the correlation here is uncanny. The market making to sell ASIC miners is ever so strong and I think this is something we all just need to have in the back of our minds on how correlated this is. Just a note I'm not the first person to say this.

We've come full circle. The $30000 Kaspa miner investment back in July/Aug 2024 on 3x KS5L's and 2x KS5M's has hit breakeven on my electrical costs of 7.4c kwh. Here are the numbers. Since we started this mining test on July 6th, 2024, or about 243 days ago. I have yielded almost 96000 Kaspa from those 5 miners. Current value in fiat for this Kaspa is about $7254 USD. I have not sold any $KAS and have been doing the whole mine and hodl strategy. If I sold everytime I got a payout to my Kaspa address, my cost basis would be about $14065 USD. For context I could have bought 187500 Kaspa at an average of 16 cents between July/Aug of 2024 with $30000 USD. I've been spending out of pocket for the 17000 watts (3400w x 5) usage for the past 243 days. So 17x 0.074 = $1.25/hour x 24 = $30.19 USD spent every day on electric for a total of $7336.65 USD for the past 243 days. So currently as it stands where we are in the market right now. I have paid $82.65 more on electricity than my Kaspa that I have mined over the past 243 days. Along with the $30000 initial investment on the miners we are in the red still of about $30082.65 if I sold my Kaspa today which I'm obviously not doing. In order for me to breakeven on $37336.65 (cost of miners and electricity), Kaspa needs to hit $0.40 cents for my 96000 mined Kaspa to break even on the miners and current electricity usage. This test currently has come full circle on the amount I have mined and held, to the electricity cost that I have racked up over the past 243 days. I am going to be shutting down my KS5L's and KS5M's very soon but I need to replace them right away due to my electric demand to keep my 7.4c kwh. I would advise that spending money on the new KS7's and such or any new Kaspa miners for that matter is a wash. If you believe in Kaspa, it would be a lot better to buy Kaspa at this point in time where Kaspa is $0.075c. Some of you may ask, RPM are you still going to hold this Kaspa you mined? Yes, I will till the bitter end. No point in selling it right now at a huge loss. We'll see if it plays out. It's only been like 8 months. Altcoin season has not played out or may not even happen. I'm willing to hold out at this point. Thanks for reading.

I’ve been doing youtube for 6 years now. My community knows this already so I shouldn’t have to say it but if I ever get paid or sent hardware for sponsorship I always say in the beginning of the video/stream. There’s absolutely 0 reason for me NOT to say it’s sponsored when majority pay by wire transfer/paypal/hardware (rarely crypto) but even then it goes into my business bank account which is all traceable by the government anyways. I have to report it all as income and pay taxes like a normal business. I speak to almost all of the crypto mining youtubers and I can confidently say all of them would never hide a sponsorship, especially on purpose or to evade taxes because they all run a legitimate business. We are not like the Crypto (non mining) tubers who get paid by crypto projects to hype it up and dump on everyone. The amount of camaraderie I have with everyone, again I feel like I don’t have to say but I have to, is the youtuber’s I mention below will never lie about a sponsor and always be honest about it. Yes this post is a reaction to @SonOfATech for the general accusation of the recent Salad hype claiming some have been paid by @Salad_Chefs.
