Pyro is great, but for me one of the best new features in #C4D 2023.1 is the addition of procedural point/edge/polygon selections, combined with vertex/color maps. Game changer for workflow. Use with fields on primitives, generators, cloners, volume mesher.

If you have a #C4D scene which has a lot of Mograph bogging it down. Try using a plain effector with 2 radial fields attached to the camera to hide all clones outside the camera frustum.
Give it a bit of breathing space so you don’t see clones pop on & off as the camera moves.

If you work with C4D and AE, transferring camera and other data, then you should be using AEC4D PRO.
It just works.. shift-click to add your objects to selected comp.. or update existing layers / camera.

#C4D Xpresso Tip
Connect & align the first 2 spline points to any object.
Make sure to set the correct point index in the point node.
The second child null is to attach the 2nd point of the spline & this keeps the curve aligned with the object
Good for attaching cables.

If you want to create a #C4D spline inside existing geometry and you need the spline in the centre of the geo. Here's a simple way to do it.
Joint Tool, Projection enabled
Ctrl click, draw the joints
Select the joints
Character>Convert>Joints To Spline

If you need a ripple effect in #C4D and you reach for the Displacer with Noise, try using a Wind Deformer as it is a lot quicker to calculate and can sometimes do just the trick. Stack a few different sizes for more organic results and mess with the fx & fy parameters too.
