I agree up to a certain point.
Salaries are indeed high, but people in web3 work extremely hard to get there. They invest significant time and energy in learning, attending conferences, and navigating an inherently risky industry, which increases the likelihood of job instability. Many professionals in web2 are not willing to put in the same amount of effort to stay current in such a rapidly evolving industry. IMO, this effort is a key factor in the higher salaries seen in web3.
However, there’s no justification for people who jump from job to job solely for better salaries. As you mentioned, integrity and honesty are non-negotiable qualities. There is also much work for companies to do in defining their goals, mission, and, most importantly, their culture. Companies that uphold strong values and a positive culture tend to retain their employees for the long term.
