This is one of the first things I worked on with @steventey and @actualTimWilson at @dubdotco. Can't wait to show what we're building next.
Incredibly excited to be launching the new @dubdotco Link Builder – rebuilt from the ground up. Some of my favorite parts: ◆ Easily search your domains & tags ◆ Generate meta titles & descriptions with AI ◆ Link drafts & keyboard shortcuts 😍 Try out the demo 👇

You can now see the full Referer URL in Dub Analytics. This is useful for tracking internal traffic/product-led growth as you can now track the specific URLs where your users click on your links. Read the changelog → d.to/referer-urls

Security is and always will be our #1 priority at Dub. Excited to share that @dubdotco is now SOC 2 Type II compliant. Shoutout to the team for the hard work in the last couple of months that helped us get here.

I'm hopeful that in the next year or two, we can truly go from idea to execution without coding expertise, and be able to launch on any platform. There are so many great ideas out there, but lack knowledge, funding, time, or resources to create.

Ticketmaster could make more dumb money if they treat tours like crowd funding. If they sell out all shows, that unlocks the next level, tickets for the live streaming. Why limit the amount of money them and the band could make from a tour?

While diving into a potentially game-changing feature, I immerse myself in reports and articles, trying to become an expert. I also scour for solutions others might have cracked. Typically, someone has done it already, but this time, we might be onto something groundbreaking.

Are there any successful methods for communicating lots of little design changes on a product during active development? It'll impact lots of areas app-wide, and I feel like documenting every class change isn't a good use of time.

Data shows that people trust their friends, family, and network for product and service recommendations. I think this should extend to map and business services. Say you're looking for a good sushi place, are you more likely to trust the public opinion, which could be really misguided, or are you more likely to trust your network? I've been burned many times by seeing a high rating on Google Maps, and it turns out the place is garbage. High ratings conflated by people outside of my network. Does anyone know if an iOS app exists that does this following: - Allows me to search for any service or place you might find on Google/Apple maps - Instead of public ratings, it shows the ranking from only my network - Instead of rating stars or percentages, your network merely ranks the places or services they like, or could set a place as "do not recommend" Before I dig into solving this, I hope it exists already.
