1. Check the price on their own original website. Usually it's so much cheaper.
2. For Agoda, please login, add to cart, and leave it for a few days. You'll get a WhatsApp message saying that they have slashed down the price for you.

4 years ago, I was catching the train in Padang Jawa to go to work at 6.30AM. I had to drive from my house to the station & went through the traffic jam.
Arrived home from work at 8.30PM. Exhausted. Burnt out. Numbness. I was wondering how long I'll live like this.
4 years later today, I'm sunbathing in the morning before going to work at Starbucks. My mental health is better. I spend more time in nature. I'm no longer tired. I can focus on my tasks. I'm more productive. I take less sick leave.
Remote / hybrid arrangement has improved my life a lot.

Masa darjah 6 ada Cikgu A ni paksa I jadi Ketua Kelas.
Yang Penolong Ketua Kelas tu pulak tiap pagi cakap kat I "It's ok I go tell teacher who's absent".
I pun ye kan jela. Tiba-tiba sekali tu cikgu A tu mengamuk. Dia cakap I tak jalankan tugas. Tiap2 hari Penolong je yang hantar report siapa absent.
Tak tahulah. Salah I ke? I banyak tugas pagi2 so I honestly trusted the Penolong. I thought we're dividing tasks. Rupanya dia bawa mulut I tak buat keje. Sial tau.
Another experience — darjah 6 jugak. Cikgu B ajak join pidato. Pertandingan peringkat sekolah, no teachers were there for me. Diorang semua pergi pertandingan bercerita sebab budak tu budak pandai. Anyway, I menang 1st place.
Lepas tu peringkat daerah. Won 1st place. Again, no teachers came to watch me because they went to watch another student.
Cikgu A was so angry because I sometimes missed his class. I went for Pidato practice. He said "Hang menang la macam mana pun, takleh nafi hang takkan berjaya. Perangai macam babi". Nobody backed me up.
Peringkat kebangsaan, I tak menang. Tapi I jadi finalist. Nama sekolah naik.
From that moment, I knew not to give people 100% trust, and to not expect that people will cheer for you in whatever that you do.
Kesan buli.
Dah 30 tahun punya kes masih lagi segar dalam ingatan. Jangan buat main weh. Raya nanti fikri cari la ye.

She's the 2nd stranger yang I pickup, teman, pastu hantar balik. Tomorrow I got another one.
I tak minta pape. Hanya doa.
Why I do this? Because 11 years ago, when I was 16, I had to go to Penang Hospital to get help for my depression. I was scared shitless. Idk what to say to the doctor.
So I know how it feels. To be scared. To be worried about being invalidated.
