Just a guy building some stuff. CTO/ Co-Founder @getclera

San Francisco
We raised $3M pre-seed and moved to SF. AI is coming for your job. Maybe in 5 years. Maybe in 15. Nobody knows. But we know this: no great career move ever came from a job board. They came from someone saying “you two should meet.” That’s what @getclera does.

We've raised a small VC round. Guess what almost killed the deal #bubble Community. We are not there yet. Found a CTO, built up a coding team - back to writing code now. What I am missing the most? Speed.

I am always striving for clean UIs and I see many do the same mistake. While we are used to super clean UIs from huge companies, we often forget, how much time in terms of tests, manpower, capital and more spent into the design development. This is not a one-man job. 1/x

While I've first designed to only have the app for me (to inform me on good trades), I have decided to make it public. Comment, like and/or retweet, if you'd like to have access. I will put you on a list then and inform you, as soon as its ready. #NFT #Crypto #Analytics

Do a breakdown please - how many clients, amount received by clients, hours per client / month. Adding: I was at a similar rate, however none of your advices would have helped. Network is key, cold outreach is BS from my humble opinion.

It's been a while since I implemented that last - quick marketplace search regarding Skeleton Loader should bring it up though. Btw, different approach is to build the loader as an element and show if a repeating group is loading.

Spending hours of debugging, no result, no fix. Frustrated, doing some sports and getting food. Looking at the code afterward, finding it instantly. Always, but struck me today again. Some things do not change, apparently.

By the way: @bubble would profit from an OS, even a BSL, strategy. Utilizing the power of the community to help improve the product, having a process to comment and PR/MR directly on Code. Many products are running this strategy successfully - financially and issueless.

I discovered, to my amazement, that all through history there had been resis-tance-and bitter, exaggerated, last-ditch resistance-to every significant technological change that had taken place on earth. Usually the resistance came from those groups who stood to lose influence, status, money as a result of the change. Although they never advanced this as their reason for resisting it. It was always the good of humanity that rested upon their hearts. Isaac Asimov

Not surprising. Media distorts reality and people are doing a lot for attention from absolute strangers. Often wondering why, but there is a lot of research to it.

Some years back I didn’t like fundraising, but it was part of the job. Meanwhile, especially with 🏃 a profitable company, this seems even more obscure to me. Ofc you need to raise for going big - we will go big. But time needed, especially engineering time, seems like a waste.

At every end of the last year/ start of the new year, I shut down and do an intensive reflection - what went well, what not, where do I see myself at the of 2024, etc. A Q of my guiding questions: What word sums up your theme for 2024? Mine is: Explosive Growth. What's yours?

In how many boxes does your life fit? For me it’s apparently 14. 7-8 boxes of clothes and shoes, 5 boxes of them I did not wear the last year. 4 boxes of tech equipment, spanning three laptops, two desktops, four screens, mic and equipment, many hundreds of cables.

Unpopular opinion: Why are people constantly taking videos of stuff? Sure, interesting. But come on: Will you really show this your friends, family, whoever? What is the use of that? Unfortunate to miss the experience by trying to make the best video or photo. Or rant posting like me.

A even better implementation is probably building up the loader element as a reusable and mapping it via a RG over the loading RG and display/ hide conditionally

Kind of belonging to the job description from my POV. If you are responsible for a technical system and a critical issue appears - and no other person is available or capable - this is yours to fix

PG: "In 1960, most of the people who start startups today would have gone to work for one of them. You could get rich from starting your own company in 1890 & in 2020 but in 1960 it was not really a viable option. You couldn't break through the oligopolies to get at the markets."
