My biggest win in the Web3 space this year??? It has to be this! A day like a dream, for once I believed your heart desires could come through in a blink. Ending of June was when I received a call from my landlord that my rent is due and I have to pay up immediately or else he'll be coming with his lawyer and that I won't like, he's an Hausa and I just kept saying "Dan Allah dan anobi give me till ending" Me that was planning to save up for school fees and leaving rent for later, not like I even have the money at that moment but at least it's my final year and I won't want to lose it but still I don't want to stay homeless 😂. I was already planning on how to move out to a close friend's place, I didn't even know how to tell him cos I'm a type that hardly ask people for help I'll rather suffer it all alone. This particular day (July 1st), you can see the time right?? Na overthinking wan kill me that night. I wasn't even planning to sleep, but I just had to at least to give my racing heart some break. I didn't cry but there's a heavy heart you carry sometimes that's more teary than crying, i was there! Woke up the next day just like a normal day, I think rain fell that day and I woke up late and got back to my plastic table and chair that seem like my work space. Put on my data and loads of messages were popping up "Cryptonite check your twitter" "Cryptonite have you seen this?" "*** sends image" For a moment ngl i didn't feel a thing, I paused and was trying to process it all. I was confused if it's my account, my notifications? A mess. Messages?? I couldn't even scroll through. After sometime, it started drowning on me how quickly things had turned around for me. I was so happyyy, for once in a long time I felt alive again. That very day was when I paid my rent in full, thanked my landlord for such patience. I settled my school fees and there was more to get foodstuffs, a good day it was fr.
