We recently encountered a disappointing situation with an influencer who engaged in deceptive practices. We are sharing this experience to raise awareness and ensure transparency within our community. This individual, with approximately 120,000 followers, received 0.25% of our token supply and purchased an additional 0.2% zthrough an OTC deal. In return, they promised to promote our project on X starting the very next day. However, they failed to fulfill this commitment and stopped all communication after securing the tokens. Days later, they resurfaced to inquire about a minor price dip, which we explained. Subsequently, when the price recovered, they once again disappeared. Despite our attempts to reach out daily, they remained unresponsive, actively posting about other projects on Twitter. Given their large following, we initially assumed their integrity. However, after approximately ten days of silence, concerns arose about him potentially dumping his bag on our community. We cautiously requested a refund of the initial token allocation, only to be met with immediate selling of their entire holding and subsequently him blocking us. etherscan.io/tx/0xbc9b3cbe93… To prevent any harm to our community, we repurchased the influencer's sold tokens using the teams personal funds along with the OTC funds. While we generally oppose buybacks, we firmly believe that our community did not deserve this.
