A well-trimmed aircraft will hold your desired pitch even if you release the yoke.

I incorrectly conflated the two speeds due to them being interchangeable at my home airport with my aircraft.
I was functionally correct while using the wrong term. My bad.

You'll note that as she used the elevator trim with her right thumb, the yoke moves away, as designed.
