Launching a Layer 1 and Deploying a Full Stack Application on It In Under 15 Minutes For a while, everyone has been touting how easy it is to launch a Layer 2 - that's great. Launching a Network Extension running one sequencer should be easy... but for a period of time launching your own Layer 1 with a full validation set, able to be customized fully to your liking has been very difficult With all the things we are working on at @avax - that process is going to be super simple going forward. Recorded this video of me launching a fresh L1 blockchain and deploying a message board application on it on my local network. Took me less than 15 minutes. Doing this on testnet and mainnet will be super easy very soon Avalanche9000 is coming.

Life Update: Over the past few weeks, I have transitioned out of my role at @AvaLabs The past two-three years have been nothing short of transformative for me Being part of this ecosystem has been one of the most rewarding chapters of my early career When you're in your early 20s (in my case, now 23) - it’s rare to find yourself at the forefront of a cutting-edge industry, working alongside one of the most talented, tech-driven teams in the space—and @AvaLabs absolutely lived up to the hype From building one of the most technically interesting platforms—a network of networks running Avalanche consensus, supporting any virtual machine, with as many validators and whatever permissioning you need, all interconnected—to making a real-world impact, it’s been an incredible ride. And I learned a A LOT. Whether it was digitizing 42 million car titles on-chain with the DMV, seeing OTG hit the top of the Epic Games charts, or launching a fully-fledged accelerator program + much more, we got to see @avax hit some amazing milestones together We also built a DevRel team essentially from scratch to @avax slowly being positioned as a household name for launching customizable blockchains—none of this was by chance. And this is just the beginning - as its tech becomes more accessible, scalable, and cost-effective with the coming updates, @avax is poised to dominate even more mindshare. The DevRel team has also evolved into a powerhouse What started as a seed has now flourished into a well-oiled machine, ready to take @avax to the next level (over 9000!) Genuinely very excited to watch the team grow and bring @avax to the masses—they have everything they need to succeed. As for me, I’ve decided to shift my focus to a new solve new problems The next phase of my time will centered on tackling an entirely different challenge—one I’m super excited about. Talking EVM precompiles, Custom Virtual Machines & the future of how we onboard developers/users into blockchain by simplifying UX Avalanche builders are the best!

Quick breakdown of what's happening on @solana + how to get your tx's through while everyone elses are failing: The network is seeing massive congestion - mempool saturated, gossip layer struggling to propagate, and validators getting overwhelmed The result is 40% tx failure rate even with high fees But here's where infrastructure choice matters: Right now - by pairing @alchemy + @solayer_labs's CLI - you can create an optimized path for your transactions — allowing them skip the congested gossip layer and get direct access to hardware optimized validators Plus auto doubles compute units without needing tips Instead of hoping your tx survives mempool -> gossip -> validator journey, you get priority routing through dedicated infrastructure Code to implement is pretty trivial: github.com/solayer-labs/sola… The network's still processing, you just need smarter paths to validators.

The True Network Value (TNV) is a interesting metric coined by @TheTieIO, which defines the comprehensive worth of a blockchain network TNV is derived from 3 primary factors: Block Size, Number of Validators, and Time to Finality @Avax currently has the second highest TNV.

Super excited to share that I’ve joined the @AlchemyPlatform team! The past few years in the space have been a wild ride for me. I’ve been fortunate to work across different verticals—from base layer infra to enterprises, institutions, games, and beyond. Learned so much from working with incredible developers tackling consensus, custom virtual machines, and other super technical problems. It’s been awesome. One thing has become crystal clear to me over my time in the space: the tech is ready. Networks like @avax, @solana, @base, @optimism, etc are all technically capable of onboarding the next gen of use cases Chains are being abstracted away and apps are being made easy to use for newbies via platforms like @ParticleNtwrk Powerful proving systems are being developed @RiscZero @SuccinctLabs making expensive computation cheaper & more fesible & many more making building apps & chains super easy. think its actually remarkable that the "biggest upgrade in @avax's history" which required major network rewrites was announced and shipped all in 2024 whereas many chains that have raised many muliples of millions of dollars have yet to launch a testnet lesson in there.

@avax is the only platform that allows you to launch fully custom blockchain networks (running one or multiple blockchains with any virtual machine) with custom validator sets, all interconnected and able to send messages to each other.

Typically in this industry, people love to showcase big benchmarks of large TPS numbers being run on a few nodes Today that changes: On a globally distributed set of 50 nodes — an @avax HyperSDK devnet saw sustained 100,000 transactions per second totaling to 5 billion transactions This test involved 10M active accounts (2.5M active every 60 seconds and 95k active every second) sending transfers to each other These transactions were taking place over 5 different cloud regions (us-west-2, us-east-1, ap-south-1, ap-northeast-1, eu-west-1) This has never been done before in this fashion in a distributed blockchain environment It’s HyperSDK season and this is just the first step.
