We see here how @davidpakman has abandoned all vestiges of intellectual integrity. You are either selling your integrity or comedy/entertainment. The objective is to avoid having your audience conclude that your integrity is comedic. Avoid overselling. The build-up starts with how poorly Alina Habba's interview went. As if there will be visible stammering, confusion, inconsistency or self- contradiction. We get none of that. This confuses the audience. Disjointed logic. Habba is clearly explaining the logic behind Trump's cabinet picks by connecting their fitness for their respective positions and the wealth they attained. This has no relation to Trump's wealth and whether or not it was well-earned. Confusing Language. Avoid referencing an appointment as a "reward" rather than Trump's belief in their ability to successfully complete a job. This reflects on the Podcaster's mindset that a job is cookie earned rather than a vote of confidence in their ability to perform in the future. This reflects more on the podcaster than Trump or the appointment. Flawed Premise. You start with an admission that "some people believe Trump started with $400M" and reach a conclusion about his money-handling abilities rooted in that figure being gospel. It further ignores the accomplishments he has made in part through considerable use of his wealth. Your audience sees through that and the only people who nod in agreement are those who are seeking confirmation bias. If you play to an audience that relies on you for confirmation bias, you are a slave to their pre-conceptions and undercut the notion that you are expressing what you believe rather than what they want to hear. -End
