On Sunday, Arrowhead Stadium will be filled with 76,000 rabid Chiefs fans. No matter what happens vs. the Eagles, the most emotional part of the day is likely to occur at 3:19 p.m. CST.
My friend
@generaldwilson will step to the microphone and sing the National Anthem. No one does it better. This will come following the country's horrific week that saw a prominent political voice, husband and young father lose his life due to his speech. The nation then mourned on the 24th anniversary of September 11th, 2001.
And when Generald is wrapping up his anthem tomorrow at 3:21, a B-2 stealth bomber from Whiteman Airforce Base in Knob Noster, Missouri will fly overhead nearly 3 months after seven B-2 stealth bombers, as part of Operation Midnight Hammer, launched from Whiteman to strike three Iranian nuclear facilities: Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan.
It may be one of the most powerful moments at a sporting event I ever experience. And it will be a good reminder that while we are currently facing a rise in evil in America, and around the world, there is still not a better place in the history of the world to call home.
May God bless America.
