Hard not to be happy for K-State. Those fans have been waiting for something like this for awhile and with a coach like Tang and guys like Johnson and Nowell, it’s hard not to be happy for their success. They’re a likable bunch. Also never hurts to see Calipari get bounced.

There's an argument to be made that Jalen Wilson has been the most valuable player for Kansas in this tournament. His rebounding is so consistent and he's turned into such a dependable, steady player on both ends for this team. His career arc has been really awesome.
Silvio De Sousa should be remembered as a damn legend. He was the best big on the floor in an Elite Eight Kansas/Duke game. Then he proceeded to be the single greatest teammate in unimaginably frustrating circumstances. That is one courageous 20 year-old.

Houston really went 19-1 in Big 12 play. They are a wagon and Kelvin Sampson is your Big 12 bully. What a masterful job he's done, and what a frigging season by the top dog in the conference.
Kansas won 300 basketball games in a decade. That is an amazing accomplishment. They will be the only power-conference team in the country to accomplish that in the 2010s, and one of only two total teams to do it (Gonzaga). Amazing decade for Bill Self.
I may tweet disagreements about a personnel decision on occasion, but Kansas is so darn fortunate to have Bill Self as its coach. That comeback was as much coaching as execution. He’s simply extraordinary at what he does. What a special win for him - one he’ll always cherish.
New rule: Dedric Lawson scored 700 damn points this year. You are not allowed to say anything bad about him. At all. When he goes pro, it is because it's the right decision. He turned in one of the finest scoring seasons in the history of this program.
Kansas may not have a lot of nationally-known “star power” outside of Darryn Peterson, but Bill Self has put together a very, very good roster that will be super slept on nationally after the last two disappointing seasons. This squad is good. Real good.
