I did a little experiment today while walking the beach. Stopped in a local shop and asked if they accepted Bitcoin. She was unsure, so clearly not the owner.
I asked for the owners email address and sent an email to see if she was open for discussion. We'll see what happens next.
Creating a Bitcoin circular economy is probably one of the best things we can do for Bitcoin.
We need to spend it and replace it. Bitcoin succeeds when we use it for daily transactions.

In the beginning - all Bitcoin miners were 'solo miners' They had to create their own block template and run a full node...before pools existed and the miner always kept the full reward. What changed the definition or "split" the definition of solo?
Pools simplified -aka- centralized the block template construction and node management.
With DATUM the "miner" can do all three.

Let’s say I’m a gold miner. I dig all day and at the end of the day I take whatever nuggets I found back to the company office and trade them for a paycheck based on how many hours I worked.

Update on my experiment. I never heard back from the store owner, BUT something even better happened! 🧡
During my travels and discussions with other Bitcoiners who live close by, we put our heads together and put our boots on the ground. We found a local art gallery on Las Olas Blvd interested in accepting Bitcoin.
Wait, it gets even better!
They're not only interested, but also willing to host a meet-up event with us and discuss Bitcoin and accepting Bitcoin for businesses!
