I am a human being, and deserve to be treated as such bare minimum. My status as a medical student does not mean folks get to disrespect and dehumanize me. I will not stay silent when I am being abused and mistreated.
Replying to @jasckMD
As a medical student you are there to learn not to judge the way you get treated. We all go through this and get used to be ignored so will you. Life is all about taking all those opportunities one gets ; you can filter some but in medicine learning from all is best !

You should stop policing what people eat. Its rooted in fatphobia. Not everyone has access to fresh fruits, vegetables, lean protein. Even if they do they’re allowed to enjoy a donut.
Hey @krispykreme, I love that you want to thank people for getting the #covid19 #vaccine! Every incentive helps & free donuts may help move the needle. However, donuts are a treat that's not good for health if eaten every day. Here's my suggestion for what to do instead: (1/4)

More than 400K people in the US are dead. And yet: "The officials maintained that he had violated protocol and should have returned the remaining doses to the office or thrown them away." The Vaccine Had to Be Used. He Used It. He Was Fired. nytimes.com/2021/02/10/us/ho…

My old therapist definitely used to say to me ā€œgirl you aren’t stupid so you should refrain from saying things that would make me believe that you areā€. I loved her for it!
Therapists sometimes act like everything someone says is valid and worthy of consideration and that’s my biggest problem with them. It is also useful to know when to say to someone ā€œwhat you just said is stupidā€.
