We are pleased to announce a partnership with #OnlinePaymentPlatform, a global leading payment service provider and part of the @WorldlineGlobal family, to transform the electric vehicle (EV) charging industry. This collaboration aims to integrate OPP’s comprehensive payment solutions with Minima's fully decentralised and device-agnostic blockchain network, allowing EV drivers to rent out their private chargers to other members of the public.
According to a recent report from Shell, “49% of people who are yet to adopt EV have not done so because they want to see better charge point availability.” This solution from Minima seeks to change that by decentralising the management of EV charging services. Unlike current centralised models that depend on specific service providers for access and payment management, this approach enables direct peer-to-peer interactions through the tokenisation of energy.
Charge Point Operators (CPOs) and private wallbox owners will be able to accept tokens generated on the Minima blockchain. The tokens will represent kWh balances, access rights, or authentication details. This would enable a more secure and efficient ecosystem for electric vehicle charging, offering a novel approach to managing energy resources and facilitating access across a broad network.

Sure thing. The reference is to the story of the three little pigs and the wolf. It is a tale about how if you take the time to do something properly, it will give you a better and longer lasting outcome.
Building a completely decentralized L1 blockchain is hard and takes time.
Allowing centralizing elements into an L1 (mining pools / staking pools) can feel like an acceptable compromise to make, or one that you just have to live with. But this misses the whole point of a decentralized network. A decentralized network is only as strong as its weakest (most centralized) part.
When the world is connected by AI agents at the edge empowering every device, these agents will need truly decentralised crypto rails to securely communicate, transfer value and even issue their own smart contracts, without having to rely on anyone or anything else. This is what we are building at @minima_global
Our L1 is the stone house that won’t collapse when the wolf tries to blow it down.
