Unpopular Opinion: L1 should not worry about L2s data. Projects like @CelestiaOrg are better equipped to bring it to the world.
What I wish for is being able to sync Eth on my phone, this is important.
In #Ethereum's history, complexity never decreased. Every EIP is piling on top. Every major change (1559, merge, sharding, verkle, stateless, L2, etc) is one more nail.
I'm extremely frustrated when a research proposal says "everything's figured out, it's just engineering now".

We are excited to announce that the launch of a Cairo Verifier on Starknet is coming soon!
Following a collaboration between @HerodotusDev and @StarkWareLtd, the Cairo verifier will enable the verification of Cairo proofs directly on Starknet.
This means:
✅Opening the door to Layer 3 appchains on Starknet
✅Verifying storage proofs will become cheaper and have reduced latency
As a first test, the team already successfully verified a proof produced by the Stone Prover. Further optimizations are in the works.
This is an important piece of infrastructure that will expand what can be built on Cairo and Starknet and will enable new Cairo/Starknet L3s.

There is actually surprisingly interesting about the UTXO model. Because rollups update state independently from the rest of network, it does not need composability. The UTXO model which offers immediate parallelisation, could be a great model for rollups to operate on
ZK-proofs enable a massive range of bitcoin scaling solutions that preserve and even improve privacy.
ZK-rollups, in particular, can work much better in the UTXO model than in the account model.

Starknet has definitely the lead here. Starknet has anywhere between 50k to 150k daily active accounts and all of them are AA since that's the only thing we have.
Polygon is currently the leader in account abstraction. No one really even comes close.
I assume this is because of services that gover gas costs for users and make UX unbeatable for the crypto space

I have only love for Bitcoin as a protocol. Beautiful, elegant, simple but the community (outside of some great core devs) is absolutely horrendous.
Continuously discarding innovations (ZKPs, ZkRollups, PoS, AMMs,...), I keep wondering how my friends can still work on it
