"We're killing all the right people" a truly ghoulish thing to say
Lindsey Graham tells Republican Jewish Coalition not to worry about Tucker Carlson and Nick Fuentes: "I feel good about the Republican Party. I feel good about where we're going as a nation. We're killing all the right people and we're cutting your taxes." "Trump is my favorite president. We've run out of bombs. We didn't run out of bombs in World War II." "So to those who worry about these stupid interviews…don't worry. The Republican Party has figured it out."

Look what they did to her bag
Israel tortured and sexually humiliated Greta Thunberg. Some excerpts from her interview with the Swedish paper Aftonblatet: "They grab me, pull me to the ground, and throw an Israeli flag over me." "They dragged me to the opposite side from where the others were sitting, and I had the flag around me the whole time. They hit and kicked me." "They moved me very brutally to a corner that I was turned towards. ‘A special place for a special lady’, they said. And then they had learned ‘Lilla hora’ (Little whore) and ‘Hora Greta’ (Whore Greta) in Swedish, which they repeated all the time." In the corner where Greta was sitting, the police placed a flag. "The flag was placed so that it would touch me. When it fluttered and touched me, they shouted ‘Don’t touch the flag’ and kicked me in the side. After a while, my hands were tied with cable ties, very tightly. A bunch of guards lined up to take selfies with me while I was sitting like that." "They were thrown to the ground and beaten. But I could only see it out of the corner of my eye, because every time I lifted my head from the ground, I was kicked by the guard standing next to me." Greta was then taken into a building to be searched and undressed. "The guards have no empathy or humanity, and they keep taking selfies with me. There’s a lot I don’t remember. So much is happening at once. You’re in shock. You’re in pain, but you go into a state of trying to stay calm." Outside, she was forced to take off her clothes again, she says. "It was mockery, rough handling, and everything was filmed. Everything they do is extremely violent." "It was so hot, like 40 degrees. We begged the whole time: Can we have water? Can we have water? In the end, we screamed. The guards walked in front of the bars the whole time, laughing and holding up their water bottles. They threw the bottles with water in them into the trash cans in front of us." "When people fainted, we banged on the cages and asked for a doctor. Then the guards came and said, ‘We’re going to gas you.’ It was standard for them to say that." "This shows that if Israel, with the whole world watching, can treat a well-known, white person with a Swedish passport this way, just imagine what they do to Palestinians behind closed doors." Thunberg says the Swedish government greatly downplayed the abuse she and her fellow Sumud Flotilla activists suffered, and wouldn't even bring them water. "We were together and told them about the treatment we received. About the lack of food, water, about the abuse. The torture. We showed them the physical injuries we had – bruises and scratches. We gave them all our contact details – I gave them my father's number and the number of our contact in the organization. We were clear: everything we say now must be released to the media." "They didn’t do anything, they just said: ’Our job is to listen to you. We are here and you are entitled to consular support.’" "We said over and over again: we need water. And they saw that the guards had water bottles. The embassy staff said: ’We’ll make a note of that.’ One of us, Vincent, said: ’Next time we meet you, you must bring water.’ Then it took two days before the embassy staff showed up again. "They didn't bring any water, except for a small bottle of their own that was half empty. Vincent, who was in the worst shape, got to drink it. We kept asking the guards, 'Can we have some water?' but they just walked around with their water bottles and didn't answer." "I said, 'Are you going to leave us like this? If you leave now, they will beat us up.' But they just kept walking." When Aftonbladet compares emails sent by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to relatives, with what the captives describe telling embassy staff, it becomes clear that the seriousness of the situation has been downplayed. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs describes the scene at the port, where Greta Thunberg was beaten for hours, as follows: “She told us about harsh treatment and that she had been sitting on a hard surface for a long time.” On Saturday, several media outlets published testimonies that Greta had been subjected to torture. Aftonbladet has spoken to three other members of the flotilla who largely confirm what Greta Thunberg says and who have all experienced various types of abuse and humiliation. We have also spoken to relatives. Everyone is highly critical of how the Swedish embassy staff acted.

Bethlehem remained a Christian majority area through Islamic rule in the Middle Ages, the Ottoman era, and the British mandate. The Christian population began plummeting after the 1967 war and the start of the Israeli occupation.
🚨Bibi Netanyahu addresses Christians — “When Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus, was under Israeli Control; 80% of its residents were Christian. Since the P.A took control — that number has dwindled to under 20%. THESE are the people you want to give a state to?!”

“One of the most precise military operations in modern history”
This claim that Israel is committing a genocide is an absolute lie, and anyone that spreads it is participating in antisemitism. Even using Gaza Health Ministry figures, around 52,000 Palestinians have died, of which Israel estimates 20,000 were militants. That’s a combatant ratio of 1:1.5. In most urban conflicts, civilians account for 70–90% of deaths. By contrast, this is one of the most precise military operations in modern history. It reflects the extraordinary effort Israel is making to avoid civilian harm, often at the cost of their own soldiers and strategic advantage. War is brutal. Death is tragic. But it’s dishonest and antisemitic to accuse a country of genocide when the facts tell a very different story. Don’t start wars if you don’t want your people killed. These deaths are on Hamas.

The Pope is not deterred
In response to the Pope’s statement today: Cruelty is terrorists hiding behind children while trying to murder Israeli children; cruelty is holding 100 hostages for 442 days, including a baby and children, by terrorists and abusing them. Unfortunately, the Pope has chosen to ignore all of this, as well as the fact that Israel’s actions have targeted terrorists who used children as human shields. The Pope’s remarks are particularly disappointing as they are disconnected from the true and factual context of Israel’s fight against jihadist terrorism — a multi-front war that was forced upon it starting on October 7. The death of any innocent person in a war is a tragedy. Israel makes extraordinary efforts to prevent harm to innocents, while Hamas makes extraordinary efforts to increase harm to Palestinian civilians. The blame should be directed solely at the terrorists, not at the democracy defending itself against them. Enough with the double standards and the singling out of the Jewish state and its people.
Community note
It is not true that Pope Francis ignored the more than 100 civilians who have been held hostage for 442 days. Pope Francis has met twice with their relatives, with the freed hostages, and has called for peace and the release of the hostages on several occasions. vaticannews.va/en/pope/news/2… vaticannews.va/en/pope/news/2… bbc.com/news/world-eur

Imagine a foreign country flattening an apartment building in the US because an American general entered it. Never in a million years would Americans think that was acceptable and not regard it as terrorism.
So the Signal chat reveals that the US waited for the Houthis’ “top missile guy” to walk into a residential building where his girlfriend lived before launching an airstrike that collapsed it, which must have killed civilians. JD Vance said this was “excellent.”

Move to Israel
All antisemitic, racist, and bigoted messaging and other forms of communication should be aggressively condemned.  I don't care if it's Young Republicans or Young Democrats, members of Congress (too many to count), media that platforms and promotes such poison (which is often), organizations that invite bigots as speakers and debaters, podcasters, comedians, and on and on.  I also find it disgusting that some of those condemning the Young Republicans in the Politico piece, who most certainly should be condemned and removed, are as guilty as they are with their headlines, storylines, and promotion of a long list of bigots. It's sinister.  Even worse, those who routinely and PUBLICLY promote the garbage, for their own ratings or clicks, etc., are not even ashamed of it and seek to monetize it or worse.    Furthermore, I have stated and I am deeply concerned that the likes of Tucker Carlson, Candice Owens, Steve Bannon, and their ilk, as well as their apologists, who are not real MAGA or conservatives or Republicans, but a cabal of grifters, psychos, and exploiters, are being mainstreamed and do have an impact on the minds of too many young people (and too many would be one, but it's clearly more than that).  Where are the top Republicans denouncing them?  Where are other broadcast hosts, columnists, and public officials?  Those of us who speak out are few in number and often disparaged by the same media outlets that claim offense at the awful things reported in the Politico piece.  I am more than happy to have a bigger discussion about this, but as I observe and engage, I see too few with the guts to do so -- including people in the leftwing media. And where are the top Democrats denouncing Mamdani, Omar, Tlaib, Sanders, et al?  These are vile demagogues.  They are routinely platformed by the corporate media.  The fusion of the media with the Democrat Party makes it less possible to have a real and routine condemnation.  In fact, one wire service recently ran a story suggesting legitimate criticism of them and what they say is Islamophobia!  What about CAIR and scores of other like organizations, with ties to Hamas, spreading their hate and propaganda -- especially in the media? None identifies with the GOP.  Many work within the Democrat Party orbit.  Or they use Hamas propaganda, from casualty figures and accusations of starvation and genocide in Gaza allegedly perpetrated by the Israelis, spread throughout the media (accompanied at times with phony photographs), and regurgitated not only by independent media grifters but Democrat Party officials and surrogates, which is obviously intended to promote Jew-hatred?  The corporate Western media, which is overwhelmingly Democrat and leftwing, has played a huge role in spreading this hate. I am not talking about criticizing Israel; I am talking about spreading lies and hate.  The rot within the Democrat Party and their media (not to mention their allied academic institutions), promotes the soft if not outright embrace of terrorist and Marxist ideology, language, and front groups. What about the language used by the Democrats on any given Sunday on one of the network or cable shows against President Trump -- when he enforces the immigration laws, cuts programs or spending, gives a speech, and so forth.  I could go on and on.  I wrote extensively about this in Unfreedom of the Press.  Of course, there are times when such analogies against certain individuals or movements actually fit, but not against the president and his millions of supporters.  Indeed, that is nothing but agitprop, and part of the problem.  The corporate media, numerous media websites, and desperate podcasters, among others, are a huge part of all this. This cancer is, in fact, spreading.  In the meantime, I look forward to reading the texts Politico will undoubtedly secure from elements within the Democrat Party to prove how ubiquitous this problem is.  Right, Politico?   Oh, and this isn't about free speech.  I am not talking about the First Amendment and government action.  I am talking about we, the people, defending our civil society and our way of life from an evil and darkness that threatens them -- and those individuals and institutions that are spreading them. More later ...

I get why people who don't know much about the situation in Yemen might think it's a good idea to bomb the Houthis to secure shipping lanes. Here are a few reasons why it's a bad idea: - The Houthis (Ansar Allah) are incredibly resilient and have survived much worse than just a bombing campaign (US-backed Saudi/UAE war from 2015-2022) - Previous airstrikes against them only escalated their attacks and led to a bigger disruption of shipping - The Houthis aren't pirates; they're enforcing a blockade in response to Israel's blockade on Gaza - After the Gaza ceasefire deal was reached, the Houthis stopped their attacks - The Houthis haven't actually restarted attacks; they only announced they would be re-inforcing the blockade on Israeli shipping in response to Israel violating the ceasefire deal The US could have kept the situation in the Red Sea calm by forcing Israel to fully implement the Gaza ceasefire deal. This could have been done by leveraging military aid, but instead Trump chose to pour gasoline on the situation.

All you need to know to support defunding the NED
"It’s hard to keep track of the upheaval in Washington since President Trump’s inauguration, and even harder, amid the media freakout, to distinguish important changes from trivial ones. But what’s happening at the National Endowment for Democracy is a very big deal, and has not been previously reported. NED, a key U.S. instrument for supporting grassroots freedom movements around the world and founded under Reagan, is under siege. An order from DOGE to the U.S. Treasury that blocked disbursement of NED funds has crippled the organization—which received $315 million for fiscal year 2025—and its affiliates, The Free Press has learned. 'It’s been a bloodbath,' one NED staffer said. 'We have not been able to meet payroll and pay basic overhead expenses.' NED’s dismantling would be far more than a cost-cutting measure. It would symbolize a major change in U.S. foreign policy, undercutting the notion that democratic ideals foster U.S. global strength and influence. Instead, the Trump administration would be signaling that it no longer believes that promoting democracy around the globe is in the national interest.

Trump is helping Israel do a genocide, hasn’t ended the war in Ukraine, became the first US President to bomb Iran, killed over 250 civilians in Yemen, and has launched a record number of airstrikes in Somalia. An extraordinary record of death and destruction is more like it.
An extraordinary record of peace from the President of the United States

Hey @VanJones68 you should really blame the abundance of pictures and videos of dead babies in Gaza on the people killing them
Van Jones, Thomas Friedman, and Bill Maher all agree that outrage over images of dead Palestinian babies in Gaza is the result of an Iran-Qatari social media "disinformation campaign." Russiagate normalized this fictional playbook of blaming any threat to elite imperatives on foreign adversaries brainwashing malleable Americans via "disinformation." It's in fact elite servile pundits who are the most brainwashed, disinformation-purveying people on earth:

Raytheon is essentially in a position where it can sell as many weapons as it can produce. I'm sure that has nothing to do with the fact that a former Raytheon board member is the secretary of defense.
