I am Deaf. And being Deaf is not, and should never be, defined by one’s signing ability, particularly when there are medical conditions involved.
I do not believe the Deaf community should be politically aligned with any party. A priority of mine has always been on holding the Administration accountable to Deaf Americans, including advocating for policy changes such as allowing a second interpreter camera stream on television broadcasts. I will continue using my platform to push for these necessary changes.

I've had a change of heart on federal income tax. On the surface, it's just a way for the government to generate revenue—it has to get its funding from somewhere. But I now see that the method of taxation itself fundamentally alters the relationship between the government and its people.
When the government relies on taxing individual income, it shifts from serving its citizens to exploiting them as a revenue source. This dynamic creates an inherent friction, where the government no longer answers to the people but to the system that extracts from them. And if you look around, it's clear—whatever our tax dollars are funding, it’s not serving us.
This is what modern economists fail to grasp when they dismiss tariffs, sales taxes, or luxury taxes as harmful. The structure of taxation matters, not just the amount collected. The income tax distorts governance itself—and it needs to go.
Paying taxes in the USA is extremely unethical and immoral.
Much more net harm is done than good with the money.

Not long ago, I had 50,000 followers. Now, it's over 700,000. For most people, that would feel like a windfall. It hasn't felt that way for me.
A few weeks ago, I was doxxed. Since then, it's been the most chaotic stretch of my life. Some of the same people I thought I was standing up for chose to side with the person who exposed a gay Deaf man—and who's harmed many other Deaf people—for ideological reasons. That betrayal shook me.
But others stood by me, and their support meant everything.
I had to relocate to another state with my kids, homeschooling them on the fly, just to get clear of the threats. Then the Salt Lake Tribune ran a piece that pulled my husband's distillery into the mess. A viral site followed, pairing the name of his business with a Molotov cocktail cursor.
I've made my own mistakes. I responded to trolls. I got pulled into bad-faith debates over technical minutiae that weren't worth the energy.
I disappeared for a week. Part of that was genuinely because I broke a writer's block. But part of it was just needing space to breathe. I've been incredibly fortunate to have the support here on X, but it's been hard to hold onto that feeling in the middle of so much hostility.
If there's one thing this month gave me, it's a deeper empathy for people who live under this kind of pressure every day. They're human. They're trying to make the world a better place, but they have their own survival to deal with. How they do it, I don't know yet, but I hope to learn from their example.
I don't know why I ended up here, and I've let the past few weeks knock me off balance. I’m sorry for that.

The seven NGOs in the chart below, in my view, represent the Uniparty. Each of these organizations receives substantial financial support from USAID or the Department of State.
Around 2019, the phrase “democracy in danger” began to dominate public discourse, amplified by the media. This was odd—after all, the U.S. is a democracy (or more precisely, a constitutional republic). But as I traced the influence of these NGOs, a pattern emerged: they are controlled by establishment politicians, they play a major role in shaping political narratives worldwide, and their core mission is always framed as “protecting democracy.”
Originally, these NGOs were created to support U.S. democratic efforts abroad—many of them emerging during the Cold War to combat the spread of communism. But with the fall of the Soviet Union, their original purpose faded. Instead of dissolving, they redefined their mission. Now, they have positioned themselves as the guardians of democracy itself.
This shift explains why Trump’s re-election was framed as a "threat to democracy." To these NGOs, “democracy” means themselves. Their survival depends on maintaining that role, and any challenge to their authority is perceived as a direct attack on democracy itself.

Reflections:
Several months ago, I started a website to search federal awards.
The idea here was we'd find general waste, cut spending, execute on a vision of smaller government. And there's certainly a lot of bloat.
However, what started out as waste-cutting quickly morphed into understanding why so much money is leaving the federal government and going into NGOs. These NGOs have been responsible for trafficking 20 million illegal immigrants into our country during the Biden years, many of them receiving benefits.
And many of these NGOs also are the primary beneficiaries of foreign aid.
And then I dig deeper - there is an entire ideology, an entire philosophy connecting this web of foreign aid and mass migration.
This is the same ideology which led Congress to finance Ukraine, but not Hurricane Helene victims.
This is the same ideology which led us into the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.
This is the same ideology that George Soros outlined in his essay, "Toward a New World Order: The Future of NATO."
This is the same ideology which caused President Biden to declare 74 million supporters of President Trump the greatest threat to our Republic.
To defeat government waste, we have to defeat this ideology.
I never expected to set on this path. I don't know where it will head. But I will continue to do my part.

Over the last few months, we've come to a realization that should have landed much harder: NGOs weren't just adjacent to government, they were the parallel government. We were shocked. I was too. This week, Elon Musk declared his intent to step away from politics, citing that he's "done enough" and sees no reason to spend his money on politics. This has fired off a lot of speculation.
I haven't commented on the Big Beautiful Bill until now, mostly because I think both sides are right. It's not enough. But it is also the best we're going to get for a long while.
And that's the crux of the problem.
The most "responsible" plan anyone can come up with still adds trillions to our debt, just at a slightly slower rate. That's the hard truth. Even with the most disruptive leader in modern history, this is where we landed.
Interest rates are creeping up again. After Moody's downgrade, mortgage rates topped 7%, and 30-year Treasuries crossed 5%. In 2023, we collected just under $2.2 trillion in federal income taxes. At 5%, debt interest alone eats up 80% of that. What's left barely covers anything. And the rest of our revenue sources? Mostly payroll taxes, locked up in programs we can't touch.
We are out of money.
We are out of time.
And still, we act like it's not a problem.
I'm not saying this to sound hopeless. But we have to face the truth: this is happening because of a culture of corruption.
Both parties know where the fat is. But even the ones who campaign on responsibility won't touch foreign aid, defense waste, or pet projects. They'd rather swing at Medicaid.
This isn't a math problem; it's a cultural one.
So that’s where my focus is going. Who benefits. Who protects them. Who looks the other way. Because we don't fix this by balancing a budget. We fix it by telling the truth: loudly and clearly, until the rot has nowhere left to hide.
Al Capone didn't fall because the system held him accountable. He fell because someone followed the money.

You aren't going to like this post, but it needs to be said about Vance Bolter.
At first, I assumed Vance Boelter was just another grifter in the NGO/activist space. He built a fake resume, floated around volunteer gigs, and set up shell organizations for clout. His "Red Lion Group" has no real paper trail. His side business in "security services" looks like a cash grab.
But the more I dug, the more different it looks.
Boelter was a 7/11 manager, but constantly promoted himself as a corporate executive. He claims the title "Dr." based on a Ed.D. in Leadership. He chased every opportunity to get in front of an audience: volunteering for Governor Walz's "Workforce Development" initiatives, speaking at conferences, anything to be seen as a leader.
And in videos of him in African churches, you see him light up. He's performing. He's preaching vague, positive platitudes to foreign audiences. He wanted to be somebody. He wanted to be followed.
There's good reason to believe that @JamesHartline is right... he was remodeling that building below into a church. Not to serve Jesus, but as a stage for an audience that would never come.
I think he is a man addicted to attention and status, who tried to get it through a lot of means. And when that attention dried up (possibly whoever cut him off his funding in Congo), he snapped.
I believe Vance Boelter committed violence as a last, desperate attempt to be glorified: under the delusion that killing abortion rights activists would make him a martyr or hero.
This is not Christianity. I watched his sermons. They were designed to provoke emotional applause, not spiritual conviction.
His actions contradict the standard Jesus gave us to recognize false prophets:
"By their fruits you will know them." – Matthew 7:15–20
Boelter bore no good fruit. Just narcissism, manipulation, and ultimately violence. He wasn't an evangelical or MAGA. He was a man who couldn't stand being ordinary.
It looks like he was turning it into a church and church school. The photos look like a church sanctuary. He may have used his 501(c)3 charity status to get the property from another church and not pay property taxes on it as a non-profit. But it does have a satellite TV dish.

This was a quote from an extraordinary speech given by a sitting United States President. It took place on September 1, 2022, over an year after the events of January 6, and less than three years ago.
In it, he also goes onto declare:

The references I found were not from some random academic journal. Over 30 direct mentions of Soros or his NGOs appeared in the Journal of Democracy. It's the flagship journal of the National Endowment for Democracy (NED), the same organization featured prominently in that widely circulated "Uniparty NGO" network diagrams below.
NED is a U.S. government-funded outfit. It includes currently sitting members of Congress on its board... from both parties, not just former officials.
Soros’s involvement is deep. He has co-chaired NED conferences abroad and his Open Society NGOs regularly partner with NED operations, especially in countries undergoing "transitions" (read: regime change or soft power penetration). Together, Soros and US-backed NGOs have shaped funding pipelines, media narratives, and even foreign electoral strategies.
So when people ask, "Why isn’t Soros banned?" ... they need to understand: he's not an outsider. He's part of our government. The Uniparty protects and partners with him, because he helps carry out a shared foreign policy vision... the same one that labels President Trump as a threat to democracy.

Let me break this down for you. Most databases, including USA Spending, work in an "append-only" way. That means they store entire records as a whole, adding new ones over time. Their search systems (indexes) are built to find whole records or parts of records efficiently—but they aren’t designed to search for specific words inside a giant chunk of text.
Now, USA Spending is massive—about 1.5 terabytes—so if you want to find a specific word or phrase buried somewhere inside, the system struggles. It’s just not built for that kind of search.
What I did with DataRepublican.com was add a reverse index on top of as many USA Spending records as possible. This makes searching much faster. When I run it locally, it’s 40% faster than grep—and that includes all the extra work like unzipping files, handling the user interface, and managing search requests. In other words, I made it as fast and searchable as possible. As a bonus, it is all client side, so it can never get overloaded like USA Spending so frequently does.
So instead of mocking the fact that we’re "rediscovering" data, maybe ask yourself why it’s been made so hard to search for this information in the first place.
