Teachers stood outside a room while one of their pupils was stripped searched, forced to remove her sanitary towel and hold her anus open. They found nothing and she was returned to her exam. What kind of school allows that to happen to a young person they have duty of care for?
Another Met Police scandal: a black girl was stripped and searched at school. The search, which involved the exposure of her intimate body parts, took place without an appropriate adult present and with the knowledge that she was menstruating. Case review: chscp.org.uk/wp-content/uplo…

Parents have always had the right. How does she not know this? They also have a right to know about the lack of funding, serious retention crisis, dangerous school buildings, continued inequity etc. We need those things to be sorted so that RSHE to continue to be taught
No ifs, no buts and no more excuses: parents have a right to know what their children are being taught. I have acted today to make clear that schools must share RSHE materials with parents.
