This 14 year old is telling me it might be time to go. Freckles is my first dog and my best friend and it’s not going to be the same without him.
(He’s got liver cancer and probably Cushing Disease, he doesn’t want to go on walks, his legs are giving out and he’s not interested in his fav foods anymore. He’s also having trouble sleeping and for the first time ever doesn’t want to sleep in bed with us. It’s just the worst).

My mom passed this Jan. She was the one to instill my love of Star Wars, Droids and geek culture. She was also known to sew a patch or two on my clothing.
She was difficult sometimes, stubborn and not always easy to communicate with. Kind of like R2.

Today we said goodbye to Freckles and it’s one of the hardest things I’ve ever done.
