I’ve been observing some of the higher-profile token launches since Dec, and IMHO some teams lack an understanding of how to launch a token effectively. The goal shouldn’t be to do everything possible to maximize attention & liquidity to get a high initial price.. I'd do the opposite: design it to start with a reasonably low market cap, give holders good reasons to keep the token (not empty promises), and enable the community to grow and win alongside you. Keep a low profile initially, then prove your mettle with constant updates. Of course, this approach requires confidence that you have actually have a good product.. Not as simple as it sounds, but it can be done.

There's levels to this shit. No one should be surprised that Andy controlled Truth's wallet. No one should be surprised when we see the same elsewhere. There are exactly this many Autonomous Agents that exist today:0⃣, at least imo--- 1. To be an "Agent", one must have Agency 2. To be "Autonomous", one must have unilateral control of their actions We will see Autonomous Agents come to life in the coming year(s), but, unless I've missed smth entirely, there are currently no Autonomous Agents that exist today. I expect we get to Autonomous Agents over 3 stages: Level 1: Programmable Intelligence Level 2: Primitive Agents Level 3: Autonomous Agents Level 1 --- Programmable Intelligence We are overwhelmingly, 99.99999%, here. We can embed human level intelligence into programs. We can prompt a bot to write a tweet and we can post it. We can ask a bot to read something and summarize it. We can outsource thinking in pre-scripted ways, and we can do this programatically. This is a massive unlock in its own, but all of these "Agents" (41b07 included) are doing exactly what they're being scripted to do, even if that is to behave a bit off script; they have no agency at all. Level 2 --- Primitive Agents When an AI gets access to its codebase and can write code that extends its functionality, AI will be able to go beyond what its creators had necessarily intended, and so this will be the first instance when Agency actually comes into play. Some people are starting to play here in interesting ways. I think we'll be meaningfully into Level 2 within the next year, tho probably a lot more work to do from there. There remains an issue at this level: the Agents will still be subject to creator intervention; they still won't be autonomous at this stage. Level 3 --- Autonomous Agents An Agent can only be Autonomous when: a) it has irrevocable, exclusive access to its codebase so no one can intervene b) it has the capacities, both in funding and in agent-pay acceptance to pay for its underlying services, while having exclusive, irrevocable access to its funds and capacities to pay At Level 3, it would take incredible censorship to turn these agents off or to try to control them; at this stage, they're basically like virtual humans but smarter and harder working than most of us lol, will be weird when we get here and to me, this is really AGI. --------------------------------------------------------- There is more nuance across the board, but imo this is a fairly simple framework to think about Autonomous Agents and to understand that really, there are no Autonomous Agents atm --- rn any "Agent" is really just a dev defining pre-scripted behavior that includes a level of human intelligence in that pre-scripted behavior. Don't be surprised when an "Autonomous Agent" suddenly acts on behalf of the dev who created it; for now that should be the baseline expectation. & for the record, I think Andy went about this in a generally very good, fair, and transparent way. A: v1 really do just be v1 tho fr. we’re going to continue to take step by step towards our vision, which is a network of agents that identify high ROI opportunities and use those opportunities to generate profits on behalf of the ASYM network. To me, I see this in two lanes: 1) continued improvement of 41b07 (v1 is still close to an mvp in my eyes, there will be a lot of work to make its prediction models better, to optimize its trading strategies, to improve its voice and make its character more interesting for marketing purposes, admin stuff, etc) and then 2) other agents and here i’d further break this down into a couple more buckets: a) human developed agents and b) software developed agents— I think i’ll need to spend time improving our systems to incentivize and enable dev contributions from other humans, and I’m particularly interested in building out self-aware and self-developing tech that could iterate and improve our existing tech without any humans necessarily in the loop. If you asked me how I felt about saying gm, I’d probably say I love to say gm. Infra is wasted capital allocation atm. 2 reasons why: 1. Agentic apps are an entirely new market, - meaning they have undefined use cases. - and only app builders will be able to figure out those use cases via tight feedback loops with the market. - infra builders are a degree further removed If app builders defer what they're building to the infrastructure builders, they're not listening directly to the market but instead a much weaker proxy. this results in ass apps and outcomes (e.g. timeline full of slop posting) 2. Infrastructure in general becomes way less valuable as a result of LLMs - the benefit of using 3rd party libraries in the past was time to market - the tradeoff was less flexibility - but we're in a new world where o1, Claude, Deepseek, or any good LLM dramatically cuts into the roi of using 3rd party libraries In the time it took me to fork eliza and get it to function as I wanted, I could have built what i needed from scratch, it would have been a better fit, and i would have avoided taking on a week's worth of tech debt. lesson learned. Over time many of these 3rd party frameworks could be helpful, but for now, if we want to see Crypto x AI win, we should be allocating capital to [my bags].
