When you access the internet, your activity is constantly being monitored. Onion routing technology uses multi-hop encrypted channels to ensure that data is layered with encryption and decryption through multiple relay nodes during transmission, thereby hiding the identities and content of the communicating parties. If you’ve used the Tor browser or even experienced the so-called “dark web,” you’re likely familiar with this technology. However, such networks often rely on centralized service providers or unmotivated volunteers to operate relay nodes. The ANYONE Protocol, on the other hand, is leveraging token economics to build a more decentralized onion routing network. Three Perspectives on the Disruptive Innovation of AO @aoTheComputer can be understood as a network with infinite sharding and scalability, where each Process acts as an independent shard. AO is not a traditional blockchain. Why Is the AO Network So Laggy Right Now? 🐌 The AO Network bills itself as a "hyper-parallel computer," so why does it feel sluggish? Apps load slowly, transactions lag or fail, and the promised "infinite scaling" and "unlimited performance" seem elusive. Can AO’s architecture truly become the "World Computer"? Many in the AO ecosystem are puzzled—let’s break it down. AO’s Core Logic: Parallelism AO operates on parallel processes that run independently, interacting via message-passing. Think of it as a maximized sharding architecture—imagine every @ethereum smart contract running on its own shard. That’s @aoTheComputer. But AO is still early, and bottlenecks persist. 1⃣ Issue 1: Overloaded Processes Create Bottlenecks Every transaction on AO may involve multiple processes (e.g., a swap could trigger 5+ processes: pools, tokens, etc.). If one process gets overloaded, the entire message flow breaks, causing transaction failures. Developers now spend significant time handling edge cases caused by delayed or dropped messages. The current so-called “mainnet” is actually Legacynet, which can be seen as Testnet 2.0.🙄 Frankly, I don’t fully understand why AO officially announced its Mainnet launch this early. Right now, since nodes can’t join the network, computing resources are extremely limited, and all processes run on nodes operated by the official team. Additionally, without a gas mechanism, creating and running processes is completely free. This has resulted in tens of thousands of processes being deployed daily, while bots flood the network. $AO Token Trading Volume Update (As of 2025.2.21, 00:00) On February 9th, @aothecomputer officially launched the AO mainnet, and $AO tokens began trading. 🔹Current price: 46 USD 🔹FDV (Fully Diluted Valuation): Close to $1 billion 🔹Circulating supply: Approximately 15% 🔹Market cap: $150 million The majority of $AO trading is currently taking place on the native AO ecosystem DEX—@Permaswap. Since $AO launched, the total trading volume on @Permaswap is about $16M, with a liquidity pool size of $4M. Another DEX in the AO ecosystem, Botega @autonomous_af , has seen around $5M in trading volume, with a liquidity pool size of $2M. $AO 代币交易量简报（截止 2025.2.21 00:00） 2月9日，@aothecomputer 正式启动主网， $AO 代币也开始交易。 当前价格： 46U FDV（完全稀释估值）： 接近10亿美元 流通盘占比： 大约15% 流通市值： 1.5亿美元 目前, $AO 的交易主要集中在AO生态内的原生DEX——@Permaswap。 根据链上数据，从 $AO 上线至今，@Permaswap 上的 $AO 成交金额约为16M，目前池子规模约为4M。 其次，AO 生态中的另一个DEX——Botega, $AO 成交金额约为5M，池子规模约为2M。 另外，两家中心化交易所也上线了 $AO 的盘前交易，分别是 @MEXC_Official 和 @LBank_Exchange 。 由于 Lbank 和 MEXC 目前还不支持 $AO 的充提，导致价格失真较为严重，交易量也不大： Lbank上的AO价格为65U，累计交易量约为28.5万 MEXC上的AO价格为35U，累计交易量约为21.5万 目前，大型交易所尚未上线 $AO 代币，但我认为这是可以预期的。 因为 36% 的 $AO 代币将空投给 $AR 持有者，其中包含了交易所地址。因此，交易所手中持有大量 $AO 代币，具有参与游戏的动力。 核心问题仍在于 AO 网络尚未完全成熟。虽然 2 月 9 日宣布正式上线，但节点准入仍未开放，目前所有节点都由官方自己运行。网络资源紧张，导致交易卡顿，阻挡了很多交易者的进入。 据 @aoTheComputer 官推称，25号将举行节点开放的发布会。 发布会之后又来发布会，这种大喘气的节奏，笔者也是醉了…… 中长期来看， AO 网络的应用前景至少能达到 ICP @dfinity 的规模，其想象空间远远超过 ICP。如果按 ICP 的市值来对标， $AO 的合理价格应该在200U以上。非投资建议，DYOR。 生态内有一些重要项目值得大家提前关注并布局： @FusionFiPro，代币$FFP，AO上的DeFi构建标准和互操作协议，AO上的头部DEX @Permaswap 和借贷协议 @lagent_AO 都是基于FusionFi构建的。 @ar_io_network ,代币$ARIO，Arweave 的网关基础设施，为 AO生态应用提供快速的数据读写服务。 @apus_network AO生态的AI基础设施，致力于在AO网络内构建GPU算力市场。 前两个项目已发币，基本开盘即拉盘，抢到就是赚到。接下来，我个人较为期待 $Apus ，Arweave/AO创始人 @samecwilliams 对于 Apus 项目非常重视，寄予厚望。Apus 将为 AO 网络上跑AI应用提供基础。 需要注意的是，AO网络目前较为拥堵，交易需要耐心。可能得有“打铭文”的觉悟才能抢到新币。期待节点开放以及Gas机制上线后能解决这一问题。

3 Mins to Understand @OurBazAR and Its Token $PIXL Instead of spending hours reading project documentation, take just 3mins to read my briefing. Get the essence of the project quickly—simple, straightforward, and no beating around the bush. <><><><><><><> 🧐 What is Bazar? Bazar is a Universal Content Marketplace (#UCM) built on @ArweaveEco and @aoTheComputer. It aims to provide a platform for creators and consumers to trade and distribute digital content (such as artwork, music, videos, documents, software, etc.) In simple terms, BazAR is an atomic asset (#NFT) marketplace —an @opensea on #AO. 🪙 Token Economics The token for #BazAR is called $PIXL, with a total supply of 26M. As of March 14, the AO network launched the Pi Plan, 15.5M $PIXL have already been generated through Streak incentives. The remaining 10.5M will be split into two parts: 🔹75% (around 8M) will be used in the Pi Plan to swap for AO allocation (i.e., $AR holders and $stETH/ $DAI stakers can exchange their $AO allocation for $PIXL). 🔹25% (around 2.6M) will continue to be distributed as Streak incentives. 🔨$PIXL is emitted once per day, with the daily output halving each year. However, in reality, #UCM is the true protocol layer, $PIXL is the token of #UCM, and #BazAR is just one product frontend. The separation of protocol and product layers seems to be a popular trend in the AO ecosystem. 现在的 AO 网络为什么很卡？🐌 AO 网络号称超并行计算计算机，那为什么用起来总是很卡呢，AO 上的应用普遍加载缓慢，交易执行卡顿，而且有概率执行失败。说好的“无限扩容”和“无限性能”呢？AO 的架构真的有成为“世界计算机”的前景吗？ 目前 不少 AO 生态的玩家恐怕都对此十分不解，让我来稍作解释。 AO 的基本逻辑是并行，每个 process 都是独立运行的，相互之间通过 message 传递来进行交互。你可以理解为是一种极致的分片架构。想象一下，以太坊上的每个智能合约都跑在一个分片上，会怎么样？ 没错，这就是 @aoTheComputer 。 但 AO 太过早期，目前还面临着一系列的问题。 🔹特定 process 负载过大，成为消息流的瓶颈 AO 上有很多 process，用户发起的每一笔交易都可能涉及到多个 process。例如在一笔 swap 中，可能会涉及到超过 5个 process 之间消息传递，包括池子的 process , token 的 process 等。 只要其中一个 process 阻塞，整个消息流就会中断，交易会失败。开发者不得不花时间去处理各种不同环节消息没有送达导致的边缘情况。 也就是说，在 AO 上，process 的资源占用是不均衡的，少数 process, 会在很多交易中被调用，例如 $wAR 的 Token Process，平均每天收发的消息数量将近 10万条。 这样的 Process，往往会成为性能瓶颈。 其实也不难解决。首先节点开放准入以后，繁忙的 Process 可以运行在更高性能的 CU 上，除此之外，可以考虑对繁忙的 process 进行分片，用多个 CU 来跑。 @FusionFiPro 已经提供了一个参考的解决方案，用多个 Settlement 来分流结算任务。详见： nitter.app/FusionFiPro/status/188… 🔹节点激励和 Gas 机制尚未上线 尽管 AO 在 2月 9日宣布 Mainnet Launch， 但看起来只是 AO 代币开始流通了。真正意义上的 mainnet 并没有推出。现在正在运行的 “mainnet” 被称为 Legacynet，你可以理解为 testnet 2.0。实话说，我个人对于 AO 官方过早的官宣 Mainnet Launch 也不是很理解。 由于节点无法加入网络，导致 AO 的计算资源实际上是非常紧张的，所有的进程都跑在由官方团队运行的节点上。 此外，由于没有 Gas 机制，创建和运行 process 都没有任何成本，这导致每天都有数万个 process 被部署，且 Bot 充斥着网络，无论是恶意的 DDoS 、还是是无恶意的、仅是出于套利目的的高频访问，都很容易就把网络搞崩。 @outprog 在这篇文章中做了更详细的阐释 nitter.app/outprog_ar/status/1887… 不过从 2月9 号开始，AO 密集的进行了一系列发布，包括 #Hyperbeam 节点客户端，和 AO-Core 支付系统。然而要等到正式文档出来了，节点才能正式加入网络。个人预计可能至少要等到 2个月以后了。 一旦节点准入开放，大量的计算资源加入网络，AO 的性能问题可以迎刃而解。 #AO #Arweave $AO $AR $FFP

After MEXC, which CEXs will $AO be listed on? I saw today that $AO has been listed on MEXC. As far as I know, CEXs that have already announced the listing of $AO or have started pre-trading include: @LBank_Exchange @HashKey_Global @Gate_io @coinexcom This is just the beginning. My prediction is that mainstream CEXs will all list $AO, and this is determined by $AO ’s tokenomics. 36% of $AO is gradually airdropped to $AR holders. Since many people hold $AR on CEXs, a significant portion of this $AO has ended up in exchange wallets. 🤔 CEXs have two options: 🔹Not perform a secondary airdrop, keeping the tokens for themselves, which is equivalent to indirectly receiving a "listing fee"; 🔹Conduct a secondary airdrop, gaining traffic, activity, and reputation in return. In any case, exchanges benefit as long as they are willing to participate. Those that don’t participate will miss out on this feast. The core bottleneck and hesitation still stem from the stability of the AO network itself. 📒 Side notes: 1⃣Fair launches are currently popular, and there’s a tendency to look down on VC-dominated projects and token allocation charts. However, even Fair Launch projects often include rules that cater to various stakeholders, rallying more resources to advocate for them. This is what makes a thoughtful tokenomics design. $AO’s token economics are a highly worthy case study; 2⃣Currently, the deepest liquidity for $AO is still on DEXs. If you’re familiar with on-chain operations, I recommend trading $AO on @Permaswap ( you can onramp to the AO network via @aox_xyz )

1⃣ Sharding Perspective After learning about @ethereum 2.0, @Polkadot , @NEARProtocol , and other public blockchains, you should be familiar with the concept of "sharding." The Concept of #Sharding: In blockchain, sharding is a solution to improve network scalability by splitting the network into multiple shards, each independently verifying and processing transactions and generating its own blocks, thus enhancing overall network efficiency. Shards can operate synchronously within themselves, and asynchronous interoperability between them is achieved via communication protocols. Polkadot is a typical sharded architecture. In Polkadot, each #parachain is a shard, which independently collects and packages its own blockchain, with a relay chain randomly assigning a validator group to verify the parachains. Communication between parachains is facilitated via a unified XCM message format for interoperability. 🧪AO’s Extreme Sharding From a sharding perspective, AO can be seen as an extreme form of “sharding”: each Process is a shard. Imagine if every smart contract in Ethereum ran on a separate shard—this is essentially what AO is. Each Process is independent, and communication between Processes relies on message-driven, fully asynchronous interaction.
