90% of my former org at @Meta is now no longer there. 80% of my team at @onepeloton is gone. I just don't see how most internal recruiting teams will ever scale to the size they were before. When hiring turns back on, RPO and agency hiring will be the first place companies look.

Recruiters who went internal the past 10 years are starting to realize this. Going internal used to be "safer" with better compensation and benefits. Now, it's clear when companies don't need recruiters they are the first to go, if it wasn't clear before.

I recently interviewed at Eight Sleep and it was the most demanding take home I've ever had. Their brief: "Create an in-app experience for a new product, integrating the existing app and flagship product." Even linked their design system and font family to use.
