Exactly 13 years ago, I pitched an idea/program I came up with to generate more ticket sales for the sports team I was working for.
I was shot down and curtly asked if I even knew what branding was. I did it anyways and locked up the #1 spot for season tickets sales for the entire league.
Moral of the story, if you believe in it, build it. And remember the day they said no thanks every year afterwards.
