If you ever watch a poker hand, watch this hand! Most interesting hand I’ve ever seen!
ONE OF THE SICKEST HANDS EVER!!!! YouTuber @coreyeyring is playing with his entire net worth on the table On the river, 3Coin bets all-in for $84,700 into a pot of $10,250 Corey has the Ace-high flush, but there are 4 cards to a straight flush If he calls, he wins $179,650🤯

I keep seeing ‘is Will Kasouff good for poker?’ I think we already knew that reality tv, drama and train wrecks are more interesting than poker. Does that mean that we want to mix it into the great game that we love? If you wanna watch some idiot have a mental breakdown and show his ss, watch Netflix, not poker!

Reverse cheating story. I had been hearing that the local Atlanta game was getting big. People winning/losing $30-40k a night, playing 4 nights a week. I made a few calls and was able to give up 25% of my action and got in the game. The game was $25-50 plo w/ optional straddles. Fast forward about 12 hours and I’m $70k in the game with about $12k in front of me. Get allin with a wrap vs a set and obv win the flip. Another 12 hours later we are still playing 3 handed and I’ve turned it around, I have $210k in front of me, for a profit of $140k The table is kinda messy, the credit pad, a couple decks of cards and all the chips that previous players had cashed out were covering one end. The 3 of us were seated at the other end in the 1,2 & 4 seat. One player got up, grabbed one of the other decks (that we weren’t playing with) and says “wtf is this? I know what these are!” It was an rfid deck w the barcodes on the edges. at this point, I WAS THE ONLY WINNER in the game. The deck was planted there somewhere along the way, I was too tired to notice. I count my chips and leave, thinking this has nothing to do with me, they can sort it out After a couple weeks of back and forth, the game runner said he can’t pay me because no one will pay off. We’ve come to the conclusion that you were the one cheating. Luckily there was one honorable guy that knew it was all a scam and paid me $31k that he lost. I always knew I had to look out for being cheated, I never knew to beware of being accused of cheating and stiffed! Moral of the story….Home games are bad

One of my fav gambling stories. I’m 18 year old poolhustler w about a $1k bankroll. There’s been this high roller from Fla in town regularly losing huge $ playing pool and every weekend we drove from pool hall to pool hall to look for him. He was easy to spot because he drove a brand new Acura NSX. After weeks of stories i finally found him at a late night bar that would let me in as long as I didn’t drink. A local hustler set up the game for me but I had to give him 25% of the action. This guy gave zero fucks, he just wanted to put on a show. We started at $100 a game, but every time I’d win a game, he just wanted to play for more. This was the first time in my life that I saw cocaine. It was about 4am, the bar doors were looked to gen public, it was only the gamblers in there, all hoping I’d quit so they had their chance at Steve. Between games he’s doing lines off the bar stool, without a care in the world. At about noon the next day the stakes had made its way to $2k a game. (When I walked in the bar I had $500) I was up around $28,000. We battled for around 48 hours with him making a big comeback. I was afraid of taking drugs to stay awake, so I faded after around 40 hours. I said last game when I was up 4k. He was about to break the balls and he looked up and said ‘so kid, what’d you buy’ without hesitation I said ‘a brand new Honda prelude with teardrop rims’. I learned a valuable lesson that day. Never lose focus, never count the prize until you’re done. I ended up winning 2k, didn’t get my Honda Prelude and never got in action with him again. Over a 2 year period, he lost about a million dollars playing pool in Atlanta. I got 2k of it :(

Recently read a post from someone, complaining how expensive traveling for poker is (he deleted it since), and it really has me reminiscing about my early days. One thing I did on virtually every trip….check bags at bell desk, Play all night the first night, to save 1 nights hotel fee. I was young and full of energy. I had the “I’ll sleep when I die” mentality. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone, I just thought I was cheating the system 🤷

More reminiscing… Year: 1996 Bankroll: $2500ish I was finally 21 and could stop using my brothers I.D to get in the casino. No better time for my 1st Vegas trip. Booked my room at Binions for WSOP and me and my buddy couldn’t get there soon enough. Threw my bags in the room and went to check out the action. @themouthmatusow & Scotty Nguyen were playing $20-$40 limit Holdem and I got on the list. Sparing the details, I blew $2000 of my money and had $400 left to last 4 days :( I don’t remember the rest of the trip, most of it was spent in my hotel room :(

Been in the game 30+ years. Here’s 3 tips that can help you stay around for 30 years (besides getting V lucky) no particular order. 1. Be a sponge! Surround yourself w people you look up to and admire. Mirror their actions, learn from them! Ask questions! LISTEN! 2. Your integrity is all you have when you go to bed at night. Keep a clean reputation that you can be proud of. I sleep good at night knowing that I’ve kept a clean slate for 30+ years. 3. Learn to drown out others opinions of you. Be confident in what you do. Evaluate others opinions of you and react accordingly. Remember this…. Others opinions of me are none of my business!
