This is very rich coming from a lecturer that failed me because I didn’t follow the exact calculation methodology (for binary operations) from a specific textbook (despite still getting the answers right).
No sir, you’re a huge reason I dropped out. You don’t get to famz me.
Nigerian University lecturers are evil and crazy for no reason.
I remember when Mowete never showed up for any of his actual class periods during the weekday.
This man then set up class for 7am on Saturdays. He didn’t always show up for this either.
Every hour I think about the structures and efficiency that has been built with just N35m [spent]. I swear e no go better for gov wey dey thief billions. #EndSARS
Every ambulance trying to save people’s lives in all of this are funded and requisitioned by private citizens and not the government. Every single one. #EndSARS
Abusers, liars, full grown adults that are unable to obey traffic lights or just stand on a fucking queue are on Jack’s twitter lying that they turned out okay after being beaten as kids.
October 20, 2020 broke a lot of us, to varying degrees. I see it in everybody’s eyes. Something has left our souls.
We knew this place was fucked, but now we *know*.
"I dont know the protocols of the military, how they come out or their chain of command." - Governor of Lagos State, @JideSanwoOlu#LIVEonARISENews#EndSARS
How far @PepsiCo? Your board member Segun Agbaje is helping the state restrict bank accounts used to donate to peaceful protesters who are demanding their right to not be extorted & killed by police. #EndSARS
The protest at Muri Okunola is a bad idea:
- We can be easily ignored as we were until the toll gate was blocked.
- It’s an enclosed space. People can’t efficiently disperse if something wrong happens.
- A dress code makes people easily identifiable. Easier to kill/kidnap.
They have the power to shut down centralised exchanges that use payment processors (who are already under fire). But they cannot shut down non-custodial wallets & P2P exchanges that don’t handle fiat. No one can. That is the power of #Bitcoin#EndSarsNow
When women say men are life threatening to women, we gaslight them and act like they're crazy. Look at how this man casually praised someone for killing his wife.
The disbanding of SARS is only the first step in our commitment to extensive police reforms in order to ensure that the primary duty of the police and other law enforcement agencies remains the protection of lives and livelihood of our people.
I have no idea where the pride comes from. You’re not useful to the world, you’re not useful to students. Just playing power games with 16 year olds.
Tueh. Agbayas.
The internet is creating a middle class in Nigeria. It’s still early days but it’s happening.
There are now so many different ways young adults are earning a (somewhat comfortable) living that simply wasn’t possible just 10 years ago.
Anyway, I can't count how many times I've heard Nigerian men complaining about women who fuck for money and then a few days later complain about a woman that didn't fuck them after they spent money.
Nigerians KNOW women (in Nigeria) get raped a lot.
Like we all KNOW. We somehow don’t know the rapists but we know women aren’t safe.
They also only know of a handful actual public accusations (whether false or not), yet their primary worry is the chance of getting accused.
Does anybody actually believe that women routinely accuse people of rape and then start promoting the accused’s music?
Because I can’t believe some of the tweets I’m seeing.
I just randomly remembered this and I can’t understand the motivation for this kind of stupid behaviour.
They’re just power crazy for no damn reason. And it’s not like they’ve made any meaningful contribution to modern technology (I was doing Engr) in recent times.
It’s fucking insane that a former Officer-in-Charge of SARS, the same police unit that people died protesting against for extorting, kidnapping and killing people under the guise of fighting cybercrime, is in cahoots with one of the biggest cyber criminals ever?
If you can understand scholarships dedicated to those who cannot afford education. Or opportunities created specifically for black/African people. Then you should be able to easily understand women focused programmes.
People who believe in God feel superior all the time. They also feel superior to others who believe in a God that's not their God. They're also the majority of the world.

When women say that it’s hard to get into tech. We blame them - say foolish things like “they’re just not good at it”, “nobody helps men get into tech, why is there special treatment for women”etc. meanwhile we know fully well that shit like this happens everyday.
Twenty years ago, Facebook, Uber, Twitter, AWS didn't exist. A few people had ideas, developed them and reinvented the way we think, move and communicate.
Nigerians have never lacked ideas.
Our leadership is so small minded - it’s they don’t realise that they can be far richer (and likely more powerful) if they tried to create prosperity for the country.
You people that have powerful parents should talk to them abeg. Nothing wey dem fit do you, worst case them no pay for your next plane ticket or whatever. People are dying. #EndSARS
All the women that led this effort have day jobs oh. Meanwhile if the foolish government was doing their actual day jobs, civilians wouldn’t have to create these things.

"Men are wired to be more aggressive"
"Men are wired to be more promiscuous"
I don't understand, are you a sentient being with the ability to choose your own actions or are you a dog?
Our president doesn’t care. He spent a lot of his life being a [ruthless] military leader. He has also been president 3 times, I’m sure you can’t convince him it’s not his birthright.
He probably feels like we should be grateful he’s even doing this “democracy” charade.
I find that what a lot of people struggle with is starting things. Going from nothing to something...especially when there are *so* many potential steps to take [all at the same time] can be overwhelming.
I now see why “just start” might not be particularly useful advice.
In less than a month, different groups of young Nigerians have built a rapid response legal and welfare system that spans more than 20 states.
But Nigerian governments have had decades and billions and hundreds of civil servants, yet we have NOTHING to show for it.

Twice As Shy is comparing himself to JESUS?
Small “don’t play his music”, he’s comparing it to getting literally nailed to wood + being left to die.
From inside house oh. Kai.
It’s crazy to me that most of the [developed] world uses toilet paper to wipe their bums instead of water.
Like all of you are just walking around this earth with dirty cracks?
RadioIsiaq is a non-profit public radio created to amplify the voices of change in Nigeria through direct civic engagement, education, advocacy, and all creative and peaceful expressions of our discontent. #EndSARSradioisiaq.com/
There’s no exaggeration when we say that the Nigerian youth has done in a week what the government has routinely failed to do in years.
Whatever happens, *this* is a moment. Let us never forget that we can accomplish this and more.
#EndSARS
Nigerian homophobes are more outraged about people’s sexual orientation than the cold blooded murder the police have been doing for decades.
Fuck you and #EndSARS
There are so many kids alive today that are without (capable) guardians, suffering, some eventually dying. You’re not out there adopting as many as you can or doing as much as possible to protect their lives.
It’s the one that isn’t yet born that they care about.
I find that a lot people who didn’t go to university in Nigeria who zero clue how bad it is.
It’s much worse than you think it is. Every single aspect. It’s a perfect microcosm of Nigeria.
Just in case it’s not clear, if you’re ever writing anything about Unilag producing “tech startup founders” or ANYTHING.
Leave my name out of it.
I’m who I am today in spite of Unilag, not because of it. As if Unilag could have anything to do with this.
