Don't agree with removing PAI all together because some people can't afford it(doesn't matter what the cause is, that's another topic) but 5.5 hours of PAI as compared to 2.5 hours of compulsory subjects like science is just ridiculous.
Aku rasa lah kan, sekolah tak patut jadi pusat ajar agama. Pendidikan Islam & related subjects should be reserved for outside of school hours (i.e. home / religious schools like SAR).
Keep schools limited to the necessary and important. In the educational context, PAI is not.
