This is a classic example of 2 common Romanist errors: 1. Confusing descriptive narrative (what happened) with prescriptive doctrine (what we should do). 2. Mistaking the instrumental cause (the means God used) for the formal cause (God’s sovereign power).
The Bible teaches that the bones of holy men have power. You may think it's creepy or weird, but it's in the Bible: 2 Kings 13:20-21 describes how a man was revived after touching Elisha's bones. This shows that the resurrection power of God was given through the relics/bones of a saint.
