I want to start talking about why I founded @monkeytilt . I’ve been a gambler my whole life. I like most trad games (poker, dice, BJ) but I also enjoy risk taking/spec in general via stocks, crypto, venture, RE and collectibles (both phys and dig). First of all I co-founded @ManifoldTrading . We did a lot in MEV, HFT, etc far before @warlock_xyz existed. It is no secret that HFT firms and MEV firms are some of the most predatory groups in the market. The game is zero sum. Nothing is wrong with that but it is ironic to be virtue signaling that you are too good for a casino when you are sitting there ripping peoples faces off in the markets on a day to day basis.

All the @monkeytilt celebs are telling me they’re getting 50+ unsolicited texts a day with scam artists begging to promote their shit coin , promising them fat bags etc to dump on retail.
I’ve seen crypto twitter take both sides of this issue but I’m firmly against the scammy get rich quick shit. I think more harm than good. Both retail and the celebs get fucked. Only winners are the scam artists setting everything up in the back and hiding in some country with no regs.
