Was stuck in a meeting for the entirety of that game so I was unable to witness the mayhem.
Apparently it was the craziest game yet, and we had our most active users BY FAR.
Just caught up with the team and can provide this initial information:
Our data provider provided us a score change which closed 2 markets and then they rolled back the score change. They should have waited after the VAR to issue the score change.
Pumpcade resolves markets using this data as the source of truth. We are not using any manual intervention whatsoever.
Ultimately, this is why we did the cade cup with FAKE DOLLARS. Our goal is to stress test the platform and the protocol, with even the strangest data points, which we fortunately had today.
I have already been in talks with other data providers this week to have a form of redundancy, so that we can cross reference data between providers in moments like this.
As a team we were able to gain some valuable insights from this game. The engineering team already has some new fixes deploying before the next game.
We massively appreciate the many thousands of users we have participating in each and every game, and we hope to continue to give you a fun experience throughout the rest of the Cade Cup.
