A real evidence of God’s providence through man is that you can go fully flowstate instinctual in these situations and the animal will recognize it and work with you. I’ve done this several times in my life- birds, a deer, various woodland creatures. They know you, steward.

Squirrel, skunk, porcupine, deer, several bats, baby raccoon, wild cats, snapping turtle, grackle, robin, some sort of dove. Just stop thinking and they calm down. Its the thinking they’re afraid of, not the human.

Y’all ever think that maybe oil is nature’s way oh healing the deserts? Many fungi can eat it… build mycelium networks, hold ground for plants to take root, change the ecosystem…. Much to thnk abt
Oil is not a "fossil fuel" that's just another Rockefeller-funded lie to create artificial scarcity. No fossils have been ever found below 16,000 feet but there's plenty of oil down at 30,000 feet and lower. Oh, and diamonds are not rare at all

I’ve actually met JBP twice- once on his first bible lecture tour where we shook hands and had a brief word, and once while on a business trip to the middle east- after his breakdown. Truly felt like a different man. He remembered me, shockingly enough, but something behind his eyes seemed sharper, less nuanced, more, and I realize this is a stretch “vice-like”. Like it was pressing something. When first meeting him he had a caring softness to him, something deep and fatherly like oak. The second time he was still polite and all but his aura felt glasslike. Hard, sharp, fragile. I wish I had a better way to explain the feeling, but it has always remained a strange juxtaposition in my mind.

You live in a world in which tiny, self-replicating biological drones (capable of flight) farm fields of living artwork to make delicious sugar syrup encased in dizzying waxen geometry. Atheism is literally stupid.

The way socialization is supposed to work is a tick-tock cycle of isolation-socialization. In isolation, you are allowed to think unconstrained, you develop novel ideas and personality. In socialization, you bump ideas against the crowd to identify what is reasonable for your in/outgroup and what is not, pruning back those ideas to fit in or near the Overton Window The situation we have is that neither of these processes are really occurring for most people- social media keeps people in a quasi-social state where they are neither developing ideas or personality, but they’re also directing their own Overton Window to whatever niche they desire. This makes people simultaneously underdeveloped as people and progressively more radical on niche or puerile pursuits. I was at a dinner party the other day and literally one sentence after greeting someone, he said “Do you like online communities? Have you ever heard of the furry community?”
The fact that young men & women aren’t forming relationships also means they’re not spending time deradicalising one another

I say this having done plasma physics at one of the most prestigious universities in the world: we have no fucking idea what fields are. We all have these obfuscating heuristics describing how fields work, sure, but ask any physicist WHAT they are and they resort to incoherent babbling about gauges (lies) and virtual bosons (also lies). YA OH SURE we know how to make them, how to contort them, how to describe them mathematically, but it all breaks down to theory. The experimentalists (my ilk) have really dropped the ball here. (Epistemic note: its basically the same deal with everything. Best we can do is say that everything is fields and then sequester the mystery into one domain)

Its still partially white. This is so strange. My whole life, my interrior volume space for thoughts has had a black backdrop. Like “imagine an apple” and the apple is hanging in a black space. I never really thought about it, but after this exercise I felt the black ???draining??? And underneath there is bright white. I get the sense that if I keep doing this exercise it will “drain” further. The edges between the white and the black are goopy, like thick oil.
The girlies were right. SOMETHING (idk if it is trauma or what) is stored in the body. Did this last night and now the backdrop of my mind’s-eye is partially bright white instead of black. Very bizarre experience will be doing it again.

Like is out of flight-or-fight!?!? This makes me think that this whole area (not even sure what to call it... "healing"!?) is just super high-dimensional and discontinuous, and exploratory search i.e. throw spaghetti at the wall and see what sticks is the way to go. Like how can you have a problem for SO LONG people think it's your personality but then you do a 10 min exercise and it's permanently gone lmao
