First, @OTHub_io advanced stats are open for all to verify as it is fully open source. According to othub.io/analytics, 7.19M $TRAC ($7.6M) has been spent to publish knowledge assets on @origin_trail DKG. For the past few months, OriginTrail V6 (current implementation) has reached a plateau that can only be fixed by V8 (coming right up on December 2024). We can then assume that the ~800k monthly $TRAC spent is the minimum based on current adoption curve, which is equivalent to 9.6M TRAC or $10M in annual revenue. Since the network expenses is gas fees for transactions and about 20-30$ to run a DKG node, we can also assume the revenue is very similar to actual earnings. With that out of the way, V8 1000x scaling does not necessarily translate to 1000x in terms of $TRAC spent publishing knowledge assets and earned by decentralized nodes. Although the team has hinted on a top 20 website worldwide will leverage the DKG, and that this entity will create approx. 1M assets daily (curreny total daily pubs ~80k), we can assume V8 scalability will quickly be tested at inception. The other factor is publishing cost, which should go down over time and adoption. As the tech matures, we expect publishing cost to go down to further stimulate growth. This makes it almost impossible to predict V8 revenue, but one thing that's for sure is we are expected to at least 10x current publishing numbers by just 1 entity, let alone many others who will be operating edge nodes and paranets. At current $10M annual earnings and a market cap of $439M, @origin_trail ecosystem has a P/E of 44. If we underestimate V8 annual earnings to only 10x, we are looking at a P/E of 4, which is absolutely insane for a growth #AI #DeSci #DePin #RWA crypto. So there you have it. You can verify all my numbers and claims as they are 100% transparent. The Decentralized Knowledge Graph is fully open source, permissionless and anything can build businesses on top of it. V8 alongside edge nodes will make this very easy, and a top 20 worldwide website claiming they would publishing 1M assets per day is telling where this is going.
