Hello, my name is blem 🖋️
TLDR, this is a somewhat detailed snippet about myself. What I did before @Solana, my experience in Solana, and what I am working on now. Buckle in, it's a long one.
Now that I've put forth the $8/monthly for @X Premium (again), I found it fitting to re-acquaint myself with the timeline, in a long-form tweet.
Prior to Web 3, I had the opportunity to work many different roles at a family owned software company. Customer service, technical support, project management, sales, you name it. I was there for almost 8 years. A major catalyst in my life.
My onboarding into Web 3 was through the Polkadot/Kusama blockchain at the end of 2021, it really wasn't until a few months after that I found Solana early in 2022. (s/o @darthdegen)
Darth insisted I buy a @DeGodsNFT on a daily basis. So I bit, bought my first DeGod, and joined the Discord.
Within a few weeks Darth let me know he had gotten an opportunity to work on an app that the DeGods team had in development named 'DYOR', iykyk.
I offered to lend a hand reviewing DYOR test builds, and eventually an opportunity to join the team came my way.
A few more weeks had passed working on DYOR and soon another offer arrived for a full time position with DeGods. In Los Angeles.
I quit my job lmfao. I barely could explain what I was moving to LA for, but that I felt it was special, and once in a lifetime. I spent the following 6-7 months in LA working on DeGods, DeadGods, y00ts, and everything in between.
Multiple web projects spanning NFT mints, discord tools, staking technology, rarity explorers and more. A line of work so different from what I was doing before, I felt like I had stumbled into a dream lol.
In the span of 3-4 months I went from not knowing a single thing about NFT's, to moving into a house in LA with a bunch of guys I had never met before. Complete hail mary.
Through DeGods, I met @SCUMSOL.
After we had both gone our separate ways from the team, Scum had suggested I take a look into the 1/1 art scene, specifically @HotHeadsNFT. I bought into their community, offered a hand with some basic maintenance, and ended up working as their project manager for nearly a year. (s/o @sikedelic)
While Hot Heads & DeGods have many similarities, they couldn't be more different.
I went from working on a project with thousands of holders, to one with less than 50. The ability to grow closer with each collector becomes far more feasible, and the need to constantly appease thousands is gone. It was such a stark difference in perspective.
After some time with Hot Heads, I was offered a position as project manager for @MySlimes_.
Working alongside @SCUMSOL has developed into so many amazing projects. Somos Axolotl, All in Time, Slimes Studio, this alone deserves it's own giga tweet explaining it all lol.
Additionally, around the same time that I took the job with Slimes & Hot Heads (late 2022), I also started @exp_studio_ with @DarthDegen.
EXP Studio is a design & development agency. We offer a full suite of services ranging from website design, all the way to blockchain integration.

At the start of the year we were blessed to have found a duo of incredible designers who have taken our sites to the next level. Alongside Darth who has absorbed a vast amount of development experience along the way, and myself overseeing that each project goes smoothly.
Which brings us further into present day blem.
Slimes Studio was born earlier this year as a creative agency (art, branding, design, development). Scum and I combined forces once again to bring our skillset to market, but with some primary focuses.
This is our initiative to collaborate with our ecosystem neighbors, looking for ways to leverage our skills in a mutually beneficial swap of services. Our first client being @CyberFrogsNFT who have agreed to treat each Slime OR Maquina Muertes holder as if they hold 10 frogs, each. A near $10,000 arb per holder that grants additional access within their DeFi platform, @TAPfintech.
These types of deals allow us to continue taking care of our art collectors, while also further developing the brand, and exposure to the space.
All things considered, this journey has been nothing short of incredible.
From @DeGodsNFT & @y00tsNFT, to @HotHeadsNFT, to @MySlimes_, @allintime_, @exp_studio_, and now @Slimes_Studio_ as well. Every step of the way has been an absolute blessing in disguise.
It’s an honor to have found a home here on @Solana, and as cheesy as it sounds, I look forward to building here for many years to come.

Seeing the progress on the @CyberFrogsNFT overhaul is pretty incredible, and a bit nostalgic.
@SCUMSOL, @DarthDegen and I spent nearly a year working together only on generative art and websites, to then completely pivoting into the 1/1 scene for the last year.
The differences between those two worlds, and the experience gained living in both of them, there is just no 1-2 sentence line that does it justice.
All of those countless hours, all of that knowledge, now being put to use with a generative collection once again, it's really come full circle.
This isn't meant to be a bull post, but the overwhelming feeling of excitement looking at it all is just truthfully difficult to contain lol.

I wanted to wait to make this post, because it is one of the biggest appreciation posts that we need to make, but I couldn't wait. If you are excited about the art upgrade, if you are hyped on the website, if you are bullish on anything and everything new coming to Cyber Frogs, Blem had his hands all up in it.
Blem has been hands on and in the trenches for months working on the Cyber Frogs. He has been there since the very first call when this crazy idea came up and he had more influence on this whole process than I think he might even realize.
It is rare to work with people in web3 who just "get it". I was able to talk through our design, utility, verification and countless other mind-numbingly complicated components of our website, and Blem translated it into stunning Uxi, packaging and everything in between.
There's countless other things he has done throughout this process that I can't even begin to name it all, but Frogs, I want you to know just how genuinely grateful you should be that this man was a part of this process. Without Blem, it just wouldn't have been the same.
Slimes Studio is lucky to have you ser and the frogs are grateful for your countless contributions.
